Extremely well maintained for a public boat ramp.

Dont be afraid its a hidden gem. Parking isn't bad, launch is in good shape. Launch site location is almost perfect, just downriver of bridge and up stream of steel mills. Only issue is it's slightly tricky getting in and out the first time from expressway. Once you do it, piece of cake.

Great views however it's very dirty there. Not from neglect but nasty selfish people not taking the extra moment to put their garbage and trash away. There are ample trash containers and dumpsters out there. More than enough parking, be sure to leave your valuables at home. Don't leave anything in your vehicle. Nice views and low key for the most part.

This place has been forgotten. No actual restrooms just port a john's. It could be a nice area but needs work. All the river front money is going into downtown and the neighborhoods are forgotten.

Good place to take a dump. Fishermen don't see a need to put there trash in a receptacle they just leave it everywhere. Smells horrible almost nauseating. Dirty and run down. There were numerous syringes laying around and when we pulled in we pulled in next to and interrupting a man and a women that were, well... taking care of buisness.. they were into it didn't even see us. Place is depressing. Could be a really beautiful place but like so many other treasures in detroit has been lost to the local population that use it as a toilet. Sad

Awesome little spot to watch the boats go by and have a picnic if you're not using the location as a boat ramp. Lots of parking!
