Nick and Ashley did an absolutely STUNNING job on our front hall closet that far exceeded our expectations. They took a scrap drawing of our vision that I provided and brought it to life, and it is much more beautiful than we could imagine. Not only that, but the craftsmanship is impeccable and you can really see the care and attention to detail they put into their projects. More, the install and communication was super smooth. They were on time, pleasant, and cleaned up after themselves, leaving no debris behind. True masters at their craft, all the suggestions that they put forward from the choice of wood to the addition of some gorgeous hand carved door panels and neat leather pulls for the drawers were well thought out and add a really nice touch to the project. Highly recommend, 10/10 — yes it’s an investment, but well worth the money and we will for sure be contacting them again for other bespoke home projects.

Nick made a beautifully designed and tastefully finished outdoor couch for my deck meant to fit a specific space. It is perfect thanks to his careful measurements, suggestions to accommodate my preferences in style and types of wood to best withstand the wear and tear of our sometimes harsh weather.He is professional but friendly and pleasant all at the same time.Thanks Nick.Patricia

We hired Schafer Woodworks to build a new closet in our bedroom. They did fantastic work with high-quality materials and attention to detail. They suggested a design that fit well in our ancestral house. They were also very safe with the ongoing pandemic. Highly recommend!

This is the 3rd time I have ordered a custom piece from Schafer Woodworks and all 3 times I was very impressed. Nick is honest and up front about his timelines and has some excellent ideas and suggestions on how to improve my proposals. He does research and sends pictures to ensure he is building exactly what I asked for. His work is beautiful, solid and well finessed. He has built me a table, a stunning tongue-and-grove wood box for a chandelier, a hand-carved sign out of walnut and repaired all of my antique dinning room chairs. I would never go to anyone else for wood working or cabinet making, Schafer Woodworks is the real deal. Highly recommend.

We contacted Schäfer Woodworks to have a custom shelf built for our living room. We received great service and Nick was very professionnal. He provided much help in regards to the essence of wood and color of the stain. Our project was a little bit of a challenge since our shelf is 14 feet long. The final product is amazing and fits perfectly in our decor. Fine craftmenship.We highly recommend Schäfer Woodworks.

After having Schafer Woodworks build us a custom pantry a few years ago we knew we wanted to use them to get pull outs made for our awkward lower kitchen cabinets. The only bad thing was that we should have done it sooner! It's so much better now! We use all of the space better and things like our heavy KitchenAid mixer can be easily lifted from a top pull out and still tucked away to clear counter space. The pull outs are custom fit, so sturdy and look amazing.

Nick has built several pieces of furniture for me over the past eighteen months, two large, two small, as well as a kitchen renovation. My family and I were delighted with the high level of workmanship that went into all the projects. They are both well-built and beautifully designed. Nick is a pleasure to deal with and his work is of a superior quality.
