Springview Family Practice (NOT Accepting New Patients)

Doctor Oggunaike is my doctor and he is lovely. Unfortunately the office is not.The office charges a $50 fee for a paper to be signed by my doctor.. And sent through email and e-transfer no less... This is not my doctor's policy but Spring View's. The receptionists are late, do not return calls, do not respond to emails, and when they do it is highly unprofessional. Nova Scotia healthcare is so depressing- and this office is a prime example of it. I wish Dr. Oggunaike the best as he is moving away from Nova Scotia soon.

The BEST doctor that I have ever been to! He is so knowledgeable and seems to truly care about his patients.Compassionate, attentive, and extremely knowledgable. He has made a crucial and long lasting positive difference to my health.Thank you for all your hard work and service.

I used to love this clinic when Dr. Enver Deliu ran it. This in no way reflects Enver Deliu or any of the previous staff:Very disorganized, can never get through on the phone and extremely unprofessional. Missed a phone appointment after waiting 25 minutes by the phone (left work early for this appointment) When the doctor calls I missed the phone call (my phone froze and wouldn't let me pick up the call). Within 30 seconds I called the clinic back, I tried THREE times and of course no answer. The dr. only called once for an appointment that he was 25 minutes late for.They e-mail me the next day saying they will charge me a missed appointment fee next time, when I tell them what happened they told me that there could be an hour variance" due to the "stress of the pandemic".... I was never told that my appointment could be an hour variance

I have been seeing Dr Ogunnaike since January of this year. He is an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable and shares information clearly. He is thorough and takes your concerns seriously. He makes sure someone is present for any examination. He encourages lifestyle changes regarding diet and exercise. I am very happy to have such a doctor.

DO NOT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES VISIT THIS PLACEHave been a “dr” safakish client for 2-3 years. Thats what we are to him clients not patients. Every single time i have been in for any reason i have been pushed random pills. Went in for a headache got antidepressants, went in for insomnia got antidepressants. Went in for stomach issues and somehow came out with a adderall prescriptions because you know that helps with the stomach…If i lived anywhere else this doctor would be in court already but we live in nova scotia where more than 50% of people dont have a family doctor. A simple appointment will take at least 2 months, 1 month or so if its over the phone. If i could give 0 stars i truly would. I dont know if he gets commission for prescribing medication or if he just simply sells them himself. If you are in need of a doctor go directly to the ER. The advice you will get from him is no different than advice from a 9year old. His goal is to get you out of his office as soon as possible <5mins and prescribe as many random pharmaceuticals as possible.

Dr. Ogunnaike has been my general physician for over a year now and I am very pleased with his approach to health care. He is thorough and informative, making sure his patients are educated to best take responsibility for their own health. He places emphasis on prevention and living a healthy lifestyle, encouraging best self care practices for you. He listens and addresses your concerns seriously. Even as busy as he is, he is compassionate and empathetic with great “bed-side manner”.

This office is definitely lacking in professionalism. I brought my wife in for a scheduled 9:00am appointment. We arrived on time, and she found herself standing outside talking to one of the other receptionists who was waiting for the office manager to open the door. Needless to say, the doctor wasn't there yet either. When the office manager finaly showed up at 9:30, the wife discovered that her doctor that she had made the appointment for back in October does not work on Tuesdays, and had to reschedule her appointment.

Dr safakish is a great person and dr very efficient and very knowledgeable and highly qualified appreciate the quick response for specialists referred

I don't mind the idea of phone appointments for starters, but it seems as if the only way to see" this doctor is via telephone. Why don't doctors want to see and touch patients in person
