Lash Up

I’ve been fortunate enough to see Naomie at Lashup for over 2 years! We’ve done all types of lashes and a few other face treatments and she always exceeds my expectations! She’s friendly, kind, efficient and my lashes always look, and feel amazing with consistently great retention! From natural, to max and everywhere in-between (including a couple splashes of colour) I highly, highly recommend Naomie as an amazing, exceptional, positive, adaptable lash tech! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - ⭐️

Had a groupon. I thought I will be served with a lash tech that is not apprentice. I don't mind apprentice but that's not the price I paid for.The lashes is too thin. It's a hybrid. I got my lashes done here few years back and it was classic, that lashes looks thicker and fuller than this hybrid. Overall not recommended. I gave 1 because the nice apprentice girl.

Naomi is the best lash tech I have ever been too! She's always so friendly and welcoming as well and will ensure you thoroughly enjoy your appointment and your lashes and makes sure you leave feeling your absolute best! 10/10 recommend Naomi at lash up to anyone wanting top quality lashes.

I went in to get a new set of hybrids. I waited at least 15 minutes even though I was right on time. She was unprofessional, kept sighing while doing my lashes. And I honestly felt judged by the staff and not welcome at all, definitely very cliquey atmosphere. My lashes are a week and a few days old and they look absolutely awful. So overpriced. Never going back.

My experience at Lash Up was extremely unpleasant, from start to finish.I recieved lash removal and extensions. I'm assuming a lot of this is company policy and the employees lack of training.Firstly, for the removal they have you sit while they apply the remover and sit there for 10 + minutes waiting, then they have you go to the public washroom and wash your own eyes using a eyelash soap used by everyone. I was told to just pump it right on my eyes (I didn't) after all that, they were having a difficult time removing my lashes, which was painful and she still didn't get them all off. My lash artist was very rough in general, with my head, face and lashes. She would put all her body weight on my forehead and face, which was extremely uncomfortable, it actually gave me a headache. Not relaxing at all, to say the least.Secondly, the quality of the product they use is very low quality. Heavy, thick plastic lashes with a clumpy glue. The application of the lashes was done very poorly, she attached fan lashes to groups of my lashes, causing them to pull and get damaged. I asked for natural shorter lashes and she did the opposite, applying long thick fake looking lashes. I had my lashes applied in Red Deer on Friday, while I was visiting from Vancouver, and I had them removed today, 5 days later. My lash artist in Vancouver was actually upset at how awful they were and the damage that sort of application can cause.Lastly, the sanitation protocol is lacking greatly. On top of all the unsanitary things I mentioned above, the artists wear no gloves or masks and don't tie their hair back. My lash artists hair kept falling in my face while she was leaning on me. The other lash artist and mine would go between the other client and myself and touch our faces and lashes, without washing or sanitizing their hands first.All in all it was an unfortunate and unpleasant experience beginning to end. Lash Up is basically the fast food of lashes, with poorly trained staff. I'd just avoid this place, if you know anything about getting your lashes done, you'll be disappointed.

I loved the lash tech I had, she was super nice and held great conversation and I felt comfortable, however within 2 days (I followed all the procedures for keeping them in tact,) they had all fallen out, which was very disappointing.

Naomie the Manager did an amazing job with my volume lashes for my wedding! She’s so talented and caring! They look way better than I imagined! I was nervous to have them done as I have sensitive eyes, so we did an allergy test prior and ended up using a sensitive eye glue which was perfect for me. It’s been 4 weeks and my retention is amazing! :) I highly recommend Naomie!

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I have been getting lash extensions for over 5 years and I figured since they specialize in lashes I would give them a shot since I just moved. But boy was I disappointed, they didn’t even last a week and according to my new lash tech the extensions where on 3 of my natural (for anyone who doesn’t know it’s supposed to be one natural lash and one extension for classic) I was also informed that the techs at lash up get trained in one day which is crazy to me seeing as they are WORKING ON OUR EYES. I do not recommend this place whatsoever please do your research and find someone who actually knows what they are doing.

I definitely do not recommend this location services. I have gotten lash lifts before and this one has been the poorest quality I have come across. During my first appointment with Kayla I was not very impressed with the customer service... She didn't introduce herself to me and didn't really offer any explanations as to what she was doing so close to my face before she did them (your girl would like a bit of warning before you put stickers or spoolies near my eye). With a customer service aspect of my review aside after my first appointment I could tell right away that the lash lift didn't take. The eyelashes on my right eye were just slightly higher than my left and the difference between my lashes from before the service and after was indistinguishable... I followed their aftercare instructions very closely and within 24 hours both of my eyelashes looked back to their baseline of straight and no volume.After informing the company I was dissatisfied with their service through their automated texting review service I was offered a fix and I was more than happy to give the shop a second chance.At my second appointment the manager Naomi was a lot more friendly but seemed very rushed throughout the entire fix. I understand that she was then doing my lashes for free at this point... And it was also near the end of the day but they definitely didn't change my opinion of their company. She was definitely more rushed and pulled at the sensitive skin around my eyes.... To the point where my eyes were watering throughout the entire appointment.Lastly, I'm the least confrontational person ever and I hardly ever leave negative reviews unless I really feel like a service is poor... but the thing that pushed me over the edge to write this bad review was the fact that Naomi left all of the glue from the curlers on my eye lids. The lash lift itself looked better after the second appointment (which is why I gave it 2 stars for the improvement) but I just couldn't get over how much glue she left on my eyes.... before I left the appointment I even told her that there was still some glue left on my eyes. She removed a tinny bit of the glue from the inner corner of my left eye and then left the rest. I spent the next 2 hours trying to remove this glue from my eyelids.I'm glad alot of people have enjoyed Lash Up's services but I had a poor experience and definitely won't be recommending it to my friends.

I get my lashes done here by the studio manager Naomie, she’s AMAZING at what she does! My lashes are always so beautiful and fluffy. I have no issues with shedding or sticking and my retention is surprising :) She’s so mindful of the clients comfort always making sure I have a blanket and pillow if I need (I’m pregnant so the support of a pillow helps) she lets me take breaks if I need to sit up, adjust or have a sip of water.Words I’d use to describe her as a lash technician are gentle, light hands, quick, considerate, skilled, mindful and professional!(I’ve also had my lashes done by one of the other techs there Hannah, she’s also amazing)10/10 recommend this studio! Always clean, calm, relaxing atmosphere and accommodating.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
