saw a lot of scary reviews which initially worried me but personally didn't have any issues with the rental. guy was super efficient with providing a 15 and blankets. set up process took 10 minutes max. no overcharges. yeah they don't smile and give you a high five but its a truck rental

The employee I had on the phone was really disrespectful. I ordered a car for my couch 3 days ago, that employee (I don't know his name) called me THE EXACT SAME DAY I needed to pick up the car to come earlier (I refused, I had work). They forgot to change the store hours on the website (that is not my problem, they should have told me when I booked the car)I came 10 mins late because of the traffic (QUEEN STREET you know), I let them know by email, that employee called me AND YELLED AT ME. UNBELIEVABLE. He threatened me and said he won't wait for me.Fortunately, the owner was nice.I recommend the owner to hire people who talk with respect on the phone, and do not yell at customers. UNBELIEVABLE. I will never come back again.

Terrible service, I ordered a 15ft truck a week in advanced and they told me I would have to wait an hour to get it. I waited for more than an hour and a half and ended up receiving a 10ft which costed me more trips.I asked for an accommodation over the phone and they said they could lower my cost to $99 and ended up charging me $145. I don’t understand their system because I was only charged $120 a few months back for a 20 ft truck… not using U-haul’s service again

Unreliable. Sketchy. Unprofessional.List goes on and on.This guy left us hanging while we had a truckload of equipment at a convention centre. We had the rental confirmed almost a month in advance. The morning pick up was a mess as the guy showed up late to give us the truck and couldn’t find the rental confirmation. No surprise as his office is a dirty van. Due to this, we stressed that he make sure the rental for the afternoon was confirmed so we wouldn’t be stranded at the MTCC with all our equipment once the convention was done. He seemed annoyed and kept saying it was confirmed for sure.Later that afternoon, we showed up for the truck, he was nowhere to be found. Wouldn’t answer our calls or messages. Left us hanging. We ended up having to drive an hour away to get a truck as it was the only place open on a Sunday evening which had an available truck.Needless to say it took weeks of hounding for him to return the money for the truck he never gave us.Be careful with this location.

We hired a vehicle from these guys. Ended up with a breakdown in the middle of a intersection with our load. U-Haul helped us towing and got rid of the situation but these service providers doesn't maintain their vehicle at all.

I rented a truck for my on-way move from Toronto to MTL and everything went very smoothly.The man was on time and super efficient. The process took 10 minutes. Good experience!

I cannot stress enough to avoid this location like the plague. I have gotten U Hauls from many other places over my years, including convenience stores, and have always had a pleasant experience. This place seems like a dedicated rental facility, yet they operate it like the sketchiest operation ever. Staff are rude, they lie, and they don't respect a reservation. Not professional at all. I waited over 2 hours on site to get a truck i reserved days in advance. The guy had to go around the corner to pick up the truck for me, but he stalled for close to 45 mins while he was drinking a coffee and texting on his phone. When I asked him what he is waiting for, he rudely responded with what was clearly a lie.. I am waiting for the inspector to conclude his inspection of the vehicle." I then watched him do his entire inspection when he brought the truck back around."

I rented a truck from them for 1 hour I just made 14 km and I put 10$ for that. They overcharged me 30$ extra for gas I called them and sent receipt everything. Owner said we would take care of it and after that he never answered my phone and messages! They are big scammers never recommend please do not rent anything for this scammers!!

No one was on site when we arrived. Took an hour for someone to arrive.was told that the van I ordered had a transmission problem, and was given a large truck instead - which led to additional problems unloading as it no longer fit where i needed to go. But remarkably, when returning the truck two hours later the van with “transmission problems” was driving away with someone else in it. I was lied to.Fuel reading was inaccurate and was charged for 10L of gas, despite driving the vehicle for 5km (off the odometer) for a short move of one large object.Sketchy and unprofessional. Not recommended at all.
