My 11 yr old son had been suffering from headaches. I took him to Dr Negandhi..He was so thorough and so friendly and kind..My son felt comfortable and he helped us to figure out his vision issues causing headaches. He also very well explained everything with pictures so my son and I understood what he was talking about with eyes..An amazing doctor with great manners who asks you if you have questions and he spends the time with you if you have questions

My wife has been experiencing headaches because of her eyes. She made an appointment 5 days in advance at this a doctor that we have been going to for years. This is a two hour Drive. My wife driven an hour and gets a call from this secretary talking about some type of strike against Ontario government and she cannot be seen. I called to have a conversation with her or the doctor on the behalf of my wife. They did not want to take any ownership of this mistake, and find us a solution. All she could was say that they don’t tolerate harassment which wasn’t happening at all. Just an excuse to hang up on me. How can an eye doctor be so uncaring. So worried about his own pay. What a horrible thing for A doctor to do to their patient

My family and I went in for an eye exam for the first time in 5 years. I am so happy I chose to go back with Dr. Negandhi & Associates. The receptionist was very sweet and accommodating while doing tests. I saw Dr. Patel who was such a friendly man. Made sure I understood everything that was happening and that I understood the health of my eyes. Answered all my questions and was very time friendly with the appointment. I would recommend their practice to anyone looking for a new optometrist or just needing an eye exam in general. Very wonderful people and a wonderful office, very much looking forward to my next appointment with them!

I have been seeing Dr Negandhi and his associates for many years in the Quinte Mall in Belleville.The lovely ladies at reception are very welcoming and friendly, the service is always very professional and thorough and the Doctor explains everything in great detail for you to understand. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr Negandhi’s for many years now. Dr Negandhi and the staff at the office are always a pleasure to deal with and are very accommodating with appointment rescheduling.I also greatly appreciate the efforts they have taken to keep both patients and staff safe during the pandemic. Staff are still masking, patients are encouraged to mask, and there are air purifiers in the exam room and waiting area.

The doctor portion of the visit went well, he seemed knowledgeable and explained things well. I didn't like the balance of the process at all. The space is cramped, everyone is on top of each other while you are trying to do tests. The assistants are not very professional in their approach and handling of customers. Their is no confidentiality or customer service, the process makes you feel like part of a bad assembly line; just get them in and out as fast as you can! The one assistant with the short hair and glasses yelled the whole time, it was like being in the army. I wondered if they knew anything at all about what they were doing or just ran the people through like cattle. My grade of 4 applies strictly to the doctor's exam, I found the balance of the process to be very unprofessional, did nothing to inspire confidence or put me at ease. As we finished, the message that was conveyed to me was pay up

Dr Patel-was excellent - he took the time to talk me through the results of all the tests and was very informative. He also helped me with giving very useful information on how to address the issue I have with dry eyes. Also, the staff in the front room were very pleasant, helpful and thorough. Clean office and nice staff. Had an unfortunate experience with the doctor. She misdiagnosed me with a lazy eye. She told me it was a childhood defect that was missed and that my eyesight could not be improved with glasses. I asked her if there were any treatments or solutions and she said no. She told me my eyesight would simply be blurry for my whole life. She gave me the same prescription and offered no follow-up. I went to another doctor who properly diagnosed me with kerataconus. My vision is now being corrected with glasses and contacts. This office should strive for better diagnoses and more empathy, because there was a solution but they were just unwilling to find it.
