Venus Envy Warehouse

Remarkable customer service! Probably the best I’ve ever received in my life. The item I ordered fell outside a delivery time that worked for me. I decided to contact the store via Instagram and one of the staff members got back to me very quickly and helped me coordinate with the warehouse for a pick up time that worked (this was after they were willing to waive a same day delivery fee for me). I am so happy I got to stop by the warehouse, meet the team in person that helped make my day (and birthday!) I am so happy with my purchase and the overall experience. Impeccable!

Venus Envy is possibly Ottawa's most important and impressively run store. This place has such a great selection of books, toys, different items and games. They host all sorts of workshops with guest speakers, and the best part is that they donate back to the community in more ways than one. The staff is wonderful and their business is rad... you'll be left feeling happy, guaranteed.

While I don't live in Ottawa or Halifax, I'm grateful this group has an online store. Amazingness! I ordered some holiday gifts for fellow feminist queers and couldn't be happier. They came hella fast, were all as expected, and even had been wrapped all cute with some educational brochures thrown in. If every consumer outlet and experience was like this, damn our world would be a better place. Thank you Venus Envy <3

Every time I've entered this store, staff have been welcoming and accommodating. Any questions you have are answered and even the shy will find a refuge in the safe space offered in this building. Queer, straight, vanilla, or toffee nut; all are welcome regardless of identity. Support, fun, and information are the things that keep us all coming back for more.

This store is amazing! As soon as we walked in, the staff greeted us in a very friendly manner. The selection and the tasteful displays were really great. A staff member helped us out and really made us feel welcome. In addition, the educational books and the pride pins were really cool! I also really liked how they had information pamphlets and gave us instructions and samples. Overall great experience!

I absolutely LOVED my experience at the store - this was only my 3rd time going into an adult entertainment store ever (and I hated my previous experiences, where shopping was super awkward and staff never approached to help). This experience blew my mind - I felt comfortable from the second I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked if I needed any help. I walked in to get a small gift, and walked out with way more - they also have educational books, cool stickers and more!The whole store layout is super hip and it looks super classy compared to all other stores in Ottawa. I'll definitely be back!Thanks to the lovely staff that made my shopping experience awesome.

I've been shopping at Venus Envy for over a decade, since before they had moved into their location next door to the Comic Book Shoppe, and I was beyond disappointed to learn about the fire and the loss of their shop.I hope they can reopen in the future. Their service was consistently amazing and their selection was curated to include healthy and body safe options for everyone regardless of their experience level. The emphasis on education without being overly clinical has always been refreshing.Venus Envy, if you ever open a physical location for in-store shopping in Ottawa again, I will be first in line to welcome you back.

This is a great place for your safe sex & pleasure needs, and the only actual store I've found that carries female condoms!The shop itself is super clean, calming and beautifully set up. There's ample space to move around, even with my purse, and it has an excellent variety of quality items that are displayed-- not simply crammed onto shelves, making individual products easier to see and explore.Staff are kind, friendly and helpful without at all feeling pushy.. as someone who can get kind of anxious when I'm out shopping, I love how calm, safe & professional feeling this shop is.And it's not just toys, lubes & condoms.. they have a ton of awesome educational resources and even offer affordable summer workshops.Added bonus: They're dog-friendly!Both service dogs and small & well-behaved dogs have been welcome whenever I've been.I highly recommend checking them out!

Staff are absolutely fabulous and lovely. Very insightful, knowledgable, and nonjudgemental. They really care about your well-being and make sure you have the best experience(s). ;)The store itself is organized and the layout makes it easy to find things you're looking for. They always have colourful, interesting displays up around the space, and they're usually things you would never think of finding in a traditional" adult shop.I've been to Venus Envy a couple times
