Sylvan Learning of Mid-South Calgary

We have had amazing results from Sylvan South Calgary. My grade 12 son went to Sylvan for Diploma prep for reading comp and received the highest results he has ever gotten on an exam . My 13 year old son has been going to Sylvan to catch up on his math and loves going! Tara and Fiona have been amazing and are always there to communicate with. The tutors are fantastic and always there to help. Sylvan is totally worth it!

Our 10 year old has been going to Sylvan Mid-South now for a year to work on his math and writing skills. We have noticed a huge improvement in his math skills and confidence. He is now getting very high marks in math and I haven’t heard him say that he hates math for awhile now :) As for the writing, he is not a very enthusiastic student... I am sure he is better than where he would have been without the tutoring, though. When covid-19 hit, they were quick to react and move us into online lessons and we ended up signing our younger son (grade 2) up for a few months as well. We have always been kept well informed of their progress. The kids enjoyed their day camps as well.

My daughter had never been strong at math but has seen amazing gains in her time at Sylvan. Her confidence increased enough to actually start putting her hand up in class to participate and she felt good about it. Thanks Sylvan for continuing to work with her.

Sylvan Learning has been such a blessing for my daughter. Her confidence level in school has gone up so much since starting with Sylvan Learning. She has no complains, always eager & willing to go to her sessions. Staff have been great. I enjoy each meeting & happy with her results each month. My daughter will be continuing with Sylvan until she reaches her goals.

I enrolled my daughter in Sylvan just over a month ago and she has improved by 3 reading levels. Her printing improved right away. Above all, she is more confident in sounding out words. It's pricey, but they offer no-interest financing. It was worth it for us.

Sylvan Mid-South has been doing an amazing job with helping my son, Jeremiah, with reading. He has anxiety, apraxia, and a bad stutter but they are able to take great care of him and he is learning great!We started going here after a recommendation from our psychologist. He was at Kinder level and in just a few short months he has increased his level of reading towards a B level book in school.He is more excited to do his reading homework and we love the help they have been!

My son used sylvan learning for English 30 support. It's been fantastic. He gets great marks in Math and physics but his English grade was lower than we wanted it to be. A few months at Sylvan has brought his grade up to an 81% and it's still improving. Highly recommend them!

Going to Sylvan has made a huge difference in my daughter's math ability and confidence. She has moved from need improvement' rating to ''above average'' and '"excellent". She loves her math now and does not fail to remind me to test her. She is the go to in her class for her teacher and fellow students.
