Sam's Marine and Performance

We bought a beat-up boat a few years ago, spent about $1,500 getting everything tuned up and repaired as needed, and we have had Sams Marine do all that work and each winter have them winterize it, each spring we have them start it up and it has run perfectly since we bought it. They work on everything from tiny little runabouts up to 40 ft Fountain boats I believe. LOVE THESE GUYS!

The guys at Sam's are top notch! We recently bought a new to us boat that needed an engine tune up. Justin took great care of us and was completely honest in what we needed for some minor engine work. Sam even took the time to do a walk through on my engine and what to pay attention to. Sam's Marine is highly recommended and we are customers for life.

I purchased my first boat (used) and the seller used Sam for winterizing. I decided for the first few years I would continue to use Sam until I became more familiar with my boat. It has been over 3 years now, and found that Sam is very accommodating for me. I drive an hour to have his service, but feel that it is worth the time. He is familiar with my boat and it delicate aged condition. I feel I will get more quality time out of my purchase until my next upgrade. Sam has the nicest disposition, very easy to get along with.

Justin was awesome through the whole process. He communicated well. He was honest with his assessment. And, not only did the guys at Sam's fix my engine problem, they also tested it on the water to make sure it was done right. I highly recommend these guys.

We are rookie boaters and Sam and his team have been patient and helpful with advice and guidance, well beyond the service and repair work we paid for. We have both our boat and wave runner serviced fully here--much more responsive and helpful than the dealer. We recently changed props for more lift of skiers and Sam provided options, discussed trade-offs, made recommendations and showed me how to switch back to my old prop if we didn't want to bring back it in to him (just in case we didn't like the new prop). As we left yesterday, our trailer lights didn't work. Sam got sandpaper and steel wool and cleaned up the connection on our truck no charge, no question.. It's not frequent the owner of a business shows that kind of care and courtesy when he was obviously busy with spring repairs.

I had a carb swapped and tuned on a new motor I had put in. Unfortunately something went wrong and the motor ended up failing. After calling them and telling them what happened, they immediately said let me handle it and I’ll make it right. He did and our boat runs flawlessly now. Plus I go there for parts I know they have, advise on simple repairs, props. Friendly and knowledgeable group of guys. Justin and Sam are great! Thanks for everything!

Terrible job, they removed motor and drive unit, damaged starter, bilge pump and almost all steering parts. They refused to repair whatever they damaged. It took me almost year to fix whatever they damaged!They fix motor to my relative- blown after one week- not professional job.Looks like their hands grom from lower back, not from shoulder.Do not recommend to anyone! be aware.

I have been bringing my boat into Sam's for years now for winterizing/getting water ready. I've also had other work and maintenance done (replaced pumps, fuel line, compression testing).I've always been pleased with both the quality of work and the customer service I've received.I will take my business back to Sam's and have recommended them to everyone who is looking for service on their boat.
