STAY AWAY from this builder! The worst builder in Edmonton if not Alberta! Once you sign that purchase agreement you are nothing to them. Took a year and half to build our home, but that wasn't the worst part. They don't communicate anything with you. Questions never get answered in a timely manner. It takes them 2-3 months to answer simple questions. And their automatic answer is no and that it is not possible" until you do your own research and prove them otherwise. I have a list of issues with this company that I can not mention them all in one review. More than willing to share my experience with anyone wanting more information or considering to purchase from this builder. They also go by Marcson Homes (Same owner). No one should go through what we went through!"

I bought a revenue property in North Edmonton and the team was great to work with. Very quick to respond and helpful. Great decision to go with a new build versus buying an old property.Thank you for making this process easy.

We would not recommend this builder to anyone. We put down our deposit in January and from the start communication and any updates were extremely hard to receive. Our sales person ended up quitting and we did not find this out until 2 weeks later, when we called the sales manager. After 147 days of waiting and receiving no follow up on our calls to the General Manager, we were told we could either give them an additional 30k or cancel the deal. I have worked for previous home builders and have never seen such long timelines or horrendous communication between the office and the client. Stay far away.

Stay away from this builder, poor quality and worst customer service. Don't waste your money.I bought house in south side, workmanship is very poor. I would rate zero.

Bought a single-family house this year with Park Royal, dealt with Sunny Hayer, who was the salesperson.To say the least, he was very helpful and prompt during the whole process., including any updates, negotiations, etc.In fact, he went out of the way a handful of times to help me with certain requests which most builders would refuse outrightly!!!The house came out more than expected, no major issues, as compared to another house I had bought from Pacesetter and that was quite disappointing.A couple of minor issues are pending in the house which Park Royal is fixing, however, they have been very prompt most of the times.Would recommend him and Park Royal to anyone!!

Edit Review 8/25/22:I still stand by my initial review. But since December 2021, things have moved along and the company has changed for a full 180. Since December 2021 i was made aware the sales agent was no loner with the organization and that Najla has taken over. Well since January 2022 when they got the foundation in the build has gone quiet smooth and we got possesion of the house 15 months and not the 12 month as told before. Najla has been a very bright light on this nightmare build, and has communicated to me and even advised when she noticed something was wrong with the build and got it resolved. She is an amazing person and really turned my horrible experience building this home into a very good one!Now moved in there has been reviews of non response. But i did not see any of that. The few small things that i have since since moving in Freya and Lisa have been quick to tackle and get resolved. Ladies are amazing. Found out Freya started in december 2021 also which means park royal listened and corrected what was wrong.I am now very happy camper and could not be more happy with choosing Najla, Freya, and Lisa woth Park Royal. I have chnaged my review from a 1 star to a 3 as we can not correct the past experiemce but if we were only talkomg about december 2021 till now they would have gotten a 5 star!Thanks ladies for making it right!---Like some other reviews, Communication is poor at best. The sales agent has not been advising where the build is at, just that they said 10 - 12 months, and they are on time, but this is all the planning phase. No communications has been had. Always the client having to reach out to them. Excuses that they can not dig or pour foundations because I have not finished my selection of color and countertops (Which is total BS). They as another review said if I could not remove conditions by a certain time they would need to charge me an additional 13,000. I have met all their timelines, and selection when they rushed me to get money, but yet no progress on their side.The pain on trying to get some status is just horrible. I removed conditions as of May 17, 2021, and only the first set a drawings have been completed in August 1, 2021, and now we wait again as there were things wrong in the drawings.I would avoid this company if you are looking at building, I initially thought it was the sales agent, but looking at the reviews it is a hit and miss across the organization.

If you want to save yourself a headache find another builder. We built our home with Park Royal/Marcson Homes and they have caused us nothing but problems. We have had issues throughout the build and since day one there has been communication issues. There have been miscommunications to name a few on our lot, driveway and blueprints. Paperwork has not been delivered to the right people thus causing mishaps during the build. There has been a lack of accountability and we are honestly fed up. Looking at our final product I see nothing but poor quality. Less than a month moving into the house we have already found issues and deficiencies. The amount of time we have taken to deal with this company has been ridiculous. The service department takes forever to make arrangements to fix these issues and their management could care less. All they seem to deliver are meaningless apologies and empty promises.

A terrible experience from start to finish. The home took a year longer than quoted to build. Many errors were made along the way. They do not respond to emails or phone calls once the home is completed. I am still waiting for my one month touch ups to be completed after being in the home for 18 months.

I would like to take this opportunity to commend Casey Lewis, Sales Manager or Manning Village for being so patience with me, He is doing everything on his power to help me out to build my dream home. Buying a house is not a joke and such a huge investment so He is very hands on with every detail. If I would recommend a home to anyone, i will make sure to see Casey from Park Royal Homes first! Thumbs up Casey!
