Got work done and paid cash. Took it back because it wasn't working and was told that he didn't do the work. Get a receipt. Beware!

Ed is the best. My whole family has been going to him for years. Especially as a woman, It’s so hard to find a trustworthy mechanic these days. I am so grateful to have Ed in my life. He doesn’t price gouge, he’s honest and his work is always done neatly and precise.

Clausen's Automotive Repair and Service
Brought my car into Clausen’s to have them check out a clunking noise coming from the bottom of my car. Despite them being very busy (tire season) they made time to look at my car anyways. Ultimately, after thorough diagnostics, they were unable to find any major issues. This was my first time coming into Clausen’s but it won’t be my last. The man I dealt with, Ed I think his name was? Seemed very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They only charged me 20$ for diagnostics, and it easily would of been 100$+ at another dealership. A great first time experience.

Ed at Claussen's is the best. He is very honest and doesn't do any work that's not necessary. He's been maintaining my 17 year old car and gives me lots of freebies, checking things and not charging me. HIGHLY recommended.

Had my 2000 Jaguar in for a safety certification, here last week and while I know it was in mint condition and needed no repairs to pass safety, I was expecting some nonsense adjustments like headlight aiming or emergency brake adjustment etc. which is common in most shops if the car needs no real repairs and this way they can tack on an hour of labour to the basic safety certification fee. However to my surprise, they were totally honest, no imaginary adjustments, I only had to pay for the safety. Strongly recommend them and I plan to bring all my vehicles there in the future. Phil

So happy that I found Clausen's. Wonderful honest service. Ed has helped me on several occasions with my 2007 VW. I was ready to give up but he has my car running beautifully. He is dependable and trustworthy. Honest work and honest pricing.
