Amazing place for a leisure outing. Had lots of fun with family. The water park is a nice place for kids. They also have life guards, so no worries even if you don't know how to swim. The place also has nice picnic spots in side and RV park for night stays. It is usually busy during summer weekends. Best time to go in June-September. Don't forget to bring your own snacks!

Big enough to handle large summer crowds. Open enough to give groups room enough to enjoy themselves without getting in other people's way. Nice affordable wading/swimming pool option.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Byng Island Conservation in Duneville, and I can confidently say that it was a remarkable experience. The exceptional hospitality of the conservation workers, combined with the stunning waterfront access from the campsite, made this stay truly memorable. One of the highlights of this campground is the direct water access from the campsites. It was incredible to have the option to fish right from the site or easily launch my kayak whenever I pleased. The convenience and beauty of this waterfront access truly set Byng Island Conservation apart from other campsites in the area. The campsite itself was well-designed and equipped. Each site featured a fire pit and a picnic table, allowing for cozy campfire gatherings and enjoyable outdoor meals. The presence of these amenities created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for campers. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in ensuring that these facilities were well-maintained and readily available. While the showers may not have been the most luxurious, they served their purpose. It was refreshing to have the option for a warm shower after a day of outdoor adventures. Similarly, the cleanliness and functionality of the bathrooms were commendable, providing campers with a comfortable and hygienic experience.Overall, my stay at Byng Island Conservation in Duneville exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The exceptional hospitality of the conservation workers, with waterfront access, and the well-appointed campsites with fire pits and picnic tables all contributed to an unforgettable experience. Despite the minor limitations of the showers, the overall quality of the facilities was commendable.I would highly recommend Byng Island Conservation to anyone seeking a serene and picturesque camping experience. Whether you're an avid fisherman, a kayak enthusiast, or simply looking to unwind amidst nature, this campground offers an exceptional blend of hospitality, convenience, and is located right along the grand river.

I really love camping at Byng. Always something to do, fishing, big swimming pool and a playground. The restrooms could be better, not cleaned often, the hand dryer doesn't work. I was there over May long weekend, the bathrooms were not cleaned once. Same stuff on the floors the entire weekend.

Loved since my kids are baby's will coming in here camping is really slots of activities special in summer Fridays at night for kids and family. Have pool, lake, playground, areas picnic. And to play football. And run around. Walk at night with lantern wit our kids have fun, fishing for fathers and kids, and have alot of security. Clean washroom, to much fun, and close to shopping in a little town. And close to farm to see cows.

Great park with an awesome pool. There's a few playgrounds for the kids, canoe and kayak rentals, nature trails and lots of picnic areas. Campsites range from unserviced to sites with water and electricity.if you want to check out the area around the park I'd recommend Bob's Place for a meal and the pier at Port Maitland for a fun day trip.*Be warned that due to lifeguard shortages that as of this review the pool and water rentals are not open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Might be worth asking if this has changed when you make reservations.
