Something Sweet
We ordered flan, hojicha and mango bingsoo and loved all of it. Flan has a perfectly smooth texture and is not too sweet. Mango was sour which balanced down the sweetness of shaved ice & ice cream. Love the rare Asian dessert options in the neighborhood! Service was good, we came around 8pm and it was not busy.

Got the mango pomelo here and as the flavour was there with the mango/coconut milk only BUT it didn't help that it came more in a soup container and warm without a lot of contents to it nor other flavour profiling. Felt like a warm small dessert soup on a hot summer day (although described as chilled mango puree). Was not very impressed by it and it cost $8.75. The wait for it also took a lot longer than expected. Price range for items are about $8-13 on average.

I’m changing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars because of the amazing customer service shown to me.Previously I ordered two mango frappe that was lacking from the usual quality and quantity, that I have come to expect from Something Sweet, and I felt like I had been cheated as there was only about 1/2 inch of shaved ice. When I bought this to their attention they were sincere and wanted to make my experience better. They offered me two frappes of my choice, and when I came into the store the shop owner greeted me kindly, and made the frappes for me. They were as delicious as usual! Completely in love.Best Bingsu, shaved ice, frappe in Vancouver!!

Quaint Cafe in the heart of Steveston serving delicious shaved ice, thick toast, lattes, teas and artisinal ice cream. Came here for a mid afternoon snack with mom and had a great time. Definitely worth the price especially the latte. Can't wait to comeback especially as it gets warmer!

Nice environment, good service, feeling relaxed and chilled. The mango frappe is so yummy, except the mango is a bit sour, probably not in season now. The oolong latte smells and tastes good. Highly recommended this cafe.
