Clarion Lakeside Inn and Conference Centre

I have stayed here numerous times. This last visit was really great. I stayed in a room that was not renovated but very clean. They are working on renovating the building. I had room service for dinner and breakfast. The stuff in the dining room are very friendly and happy to help you with what you may need. The food this time was excellent, just like the last time. I had a pasta dish that I asked to be altered a bit and they were happy to grant me my wish. I like the fact that they have two bottles of water in each one of the rooms. I can get dry with that heater going. The beds are fantastic and I always sleep well in them. Thanks for another great stay!

The hotel itself is in a great location, I love the deck area. We stayed for our anniversary. Also very nice that they offer free docking for boats. The room was clean, and despite other reviews regarding a/c our air conditioning worked excellent in our room. My only complaints was the tiling in the shower was a bit rough on feet, not sure if it’s cause it was crooked or needed more grout in between for a smoother finish. I docked a star because the parking is insufficient. There was a wedding and when the hotel is booked over the overflow parking is across the street in the back of the community centre. There is no lighting over there so there was a concern about safety. Only other thing that would make this hotel even more great is a pool, I was kind of missing that. Otherwise a great stay, would stay here again for sure.

Love the lake view! Staff are friendly and helpful. It would be best if they have ample parking for their patrons. The room we had did not have a tub but it was compensated by a very nice shower head. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy.
