The oreo milkshake was quite amazing. It was thick and I could taste the oreo in it. Pretty fast service too!

I'm not one to ever complain but after spending $52 on undercooked soggy fries, greasy burnt over crispy chicken and fish and the worst cheeseburger I've ever had, I'm blown away this place has a 4 star rating. Must be the owners and locals pumping up the rating. It's terrible

Well known as a great place for fish and chips etc and probably one of the best places around for it. But what is less known is their great dessert and dairy options. The deep fried Mars bar is probably the best dessert I have ever had, they also have soft serve, many flavors of hard ice cream, homemade polar bars and many other things. Staff here is always friendly and the place has many outdoor tables. Really a great little local take out.

I like the food. Greasy chicken. Been coming here for years. I have learned a few things.Always check your order before you leave very common occurrence for small add-on items like dressing and gravy to be missing.Expect long waits especially on the weekend. If they tell you 15-20 minutes you better leave now or you might be waiting outside for an additional 25 minutes extra like I did today.The milkshakes are excellent.Tried the pizza was not a fan pretty bland stuff.If you call them and they answer on the first attempt buy a lottery ticket.10/10 will order again.

A homey restaurant on the island that serves unique items and flavors such as orange creamsicle milkshakes and oversized, thickly battered and seasoned onion rings.The menu goes on and on and is written all over the walls, from various meals to snacks to desserts.I usually have onion rings which are consistently good. I've tried more on their menu and always found the food delicious.Servers are often helpful and ready to serve; though friendly they also present themselves as unprofessional and show a bit of attitude.Service is usually timely and precise except in summer when it is extremely busy but that's understandable.Building is usually kept clean, especially the food and beverage areas are often seen being cleaned but the serving counter, particularly the debit machine could use some attention especially considering there is no tap.The attatched bathroom is usually clean and stocked when it's not peak season but could use some upgrading.Love stopping in during road trips with friends and family and reccomend it to anyone who will be in the area.

Absolutely delicious! Fast service too. No place to sit and eat, but there is a small counter space to eat. Fresh fish and excellent fries!

I don’t know why Newfoundlanders give this place a high ranking, if you’re one that enjoys food being crispy, fresh and not full of grease, I would avoid. Deep-fried and wonderful. Be warned, portions are massive so probably order on the smaller side. If you are trying to eat even remotely healthy don't eat here. The only thing that's green here is their mint milkshakes, which are amazing also. Go hungry leave full. Sometimes a bit of a wait depending on how busy it is, due to them allowing phone in orders and orders at the counter, but it's worth the wait

1 star because the fries were okay. Ordered fish and Chips from here & it was absolutely disgusting. Worst fish we have ever had. The batter was super thick, gooey inside and rock hard outside, I could hardly cut it. The fish inside was dried out completely.We called in our order, and were told 20 mins.We went in and paid at 20mins and we're told a couple more minutes". Warning: probably call ahead to this place if you ever want to order. Drove an hour to get food here; phone lines were busy so we figured we could order inside like usual (they do usually take inside orders). No answering machine message, online warning, or signage to indicate this, but apparently when they are busy they do not take inside orders. Waited 20 minutes in the cold to be told our order could maybe be taken in a half hour IF we could get through on the phone (no guarantees), but that they would not be taking it now. Again, nothing outside the restaurant or online indicates this rule, so they simply wasted our time. Obviously after an hour and 20 minutes having already passed we decided to go elsewhere. Not cool. Put up a sign please.Food is usually decent; ordinary greasy stuff that anyone will like. Milkshakes are great. Just wish we could have actually bought any of it.
