Falcon Trails Resort

This is one of my favourite places to mountain bike in the province! I visit every summer and am never disappointed.The trails have something to offer every skill level and are always well maintained. There are some very technical rocky sections but also some nice downhill. Each year they seem to be expanding the trails which keeps them fresh and challenging.And the beautiful scenery throughout is just an added bonus!

Clean and comfortable. A great weekend get away close to the city. We had awesome weather for our stay. Only recommendation I would make is to give guests a bit more of a welcome and orientation around the area. We just got an envelope with a key and were pointed in the direction of our cabin. Otherwise awesome hosts and beautiful area

The area around this resort is always so gorgeous and makes for such a peaceful/relaxing getaway with super cute cabins! My husband and I chose to have our intimate elopement at Falcon Trails Resort earlier this year - we stayed in the Merganser cabin - and couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Deborah from the resort was fantastic with answering all of our questions and was very accommodating in helping us figure out how to make everything work amidst the changes and challenges with COVID restrictions. We already have our next stay booked and look forward to returning for another visit!

My favourite place in the world. I’ve come back here 6 times in 8 years, and I hope to come back many more times in the future. Seeing the Resort grow over the years, what has remained consistent is the commitment to the guest experience. Everyone working at the Resort is always very helpful and welcoming.We always stay at the eco cabins on High Lake, which I cannot recommend highly enough. To fellow guests who are planning on staying at the resort or coming in for a hike: please remember the principles of “leave no trace.” It is frustrating and heartbreaking to see when people leave beer cans in the lake or litter on the trails, especially in an environment that is otherwise pristine.

Great spot for a winter getaway. The Cross Country Ski trails are great - and well groomed by Ryan. The Skating rink on the lake is a blast, snowshoeing is great, really, a great spot...Our Hot Tub was only functional 1 out of 3 nights - which was very disappointing and the resort didn't offer up any compensation for this inconvenience. This would be the only downside. Love that you can book years in advance.

Great place to go spend a weekend. The sights are incredible. The trails are just ok and the staff and very nice. We went in between seasons so obviously we couldn't try all they had to offer. Excellent place to get away from the city for a couple of days.

We had an amazing time! The scenery was beautiful, the cabin was great, the sauna was so nice, as well as the hot tub.. The only negative that wasn't a huge deal but notable was that shoveling wasn't done.

This cozy cabin is a perfect getaway. Rustic looking tucked away in the woods. We had our own dock for our boat. The view of the lake is breathtaking! Everything we needed was included in this cabin. Just bring your own food and drinks. No air conditioning but several fans were available for us to use.We booked this cabin in May but it would also be great to use in winter.

Beautiful cabin, loved the atmosphere but not very private. My husband and I were there celebrating our 20th anniversary and loved the idea of a private cabin and the hottub on the deck and the lakefront view. Was a winter wonderland view being early December. But we we’re only there for 2 nights and one full day. Friday night to sunday morning. We knew there would be someone stopping by daily to check on the hottub, thats fine. But this person popped by 4 times!!! Once for the hottub, again about an hour later, i assumed there was a water issue? Then again a little while later to shovel the back deck even though it hadnt even snowed. The next day this person showed up at 10am to check the hottub again. Check out time was 11am, could they not have waited an hour. So much for privacy.

My family and I will never have enough words to describe this amazing place! We have been every year since my son was 3. He will be 13 this year! We started at the main cabins and have been lucky enough to stay at the eco cabins for many years now. You cannot beat the level of care and true customer service that goes into making this magical for everyone. In all our stays, through power outages, storms and heat waves I cannot come up with one single thing I would change. It’s worth every penny and always brings adventure, love and laughter. The hardest part? Leaving. Cheers to all the beautiful people that make this incredible every single time!
