When in for a veal sandwich, lady said they where out of veal. Thursday at 5 pm. Had a steak sandwich, was ok, cost $13.50 plus tax. Could be cleaner and friendlier. I'm trying to support local, but this place needs to step. I wont be back

The reviews on this place were so correct! Poutines were both delicious. The veal sandwich was huge and absolutely beyond amazing! Thanks for a great meal!

Used to love this place but something has changed. Got my usual favourite, the veal sandwich and this time it was terrible. Sauce tasted burnt, couldn't even finish it even though I was still hungry. Very dissapointed, may have to try it again but really didn't care for the servers attitude either, as someone else said, seemed like I was bothering her

Since I moved to London in 2007 I cannot say I have come across a restaraunt with service as bad as this. I had been once previously in I believe 2021, It was under different management, a nice middle Eastern man and his wife were working. It was just okay then. But after seeing a doordash advertisement for this place with the saddest looking lasagna I've ever seen, I've been inspired to revisit and wow, things have changed for the worse. the interior is filthy, they do not work with gloves anymore, the one girl I watched put out a cigarette on the wall outside and not wash her hands afterwards when making an order. The same girl was very rude and short with me when asking questions about the menu items. Surprisingly there's no sign of mice or roaches in the restaurant, but to be fair I would not bother with eating this food if I were them either. But on a positive note.. If you like your lasagna the consistency of soup and you're free on Thursdays, this is the place to go! I really wish I could give a 5 star, a 5 star warning to anyone else daring to eat here. If you want similar quality Italian food for a cheaper price, just go buy yourself a can of Chef Boyardee.

Food is good and comes in great portion sizes however the price does not match the value (20 dollars should include a drink and side with sandwich at least).The food is good tho just not an everyday or weekly meal.Went there well someone was training on there first day and I did want I point out the trainer was very nice and mentoring its nice to see employers and managers treating new employees well.

Been wanting to try Mama's for a while. The service was a tad slow.. but that was clearly because of a rush hour full of (apparent) regulars. My order was taken with a smile and I sat hoping that my choice of steak & onions with the works would be worth the short wait ... I watched the skill and grace of the one person behind the counter as they powered through the rush without missing a beat. Honestly I'm surprised I didn't have to wait longer.. my sandwich came out hot, fresh and flavoured exactly as I'd hoped. When I'm back in London I'll be heading back to Mama's.

Love this place normally. This time my chicken sandwich tasted like the oil needed to be changed and was a little over cooked. Asked for light sauce that was good, got medium it had a nice bite to it and it was very cheesy. My husband got the meatball sandwich, it was a mess, couldn't eat it like a sandwich had to use a fork. He asked for hot and said it was good nice and spicy the way he likes it. Overall was ok, but we felt like we were bothering the front of store staff.
