I found what I was looking for (cat litter and litterbox), but no one in the store assisted. One employee just walked by without asking if I needed help, but it didn't look like she was in a hurry. The male employee at the register checked me out without a word spoken. It was all a little uncomfortable and surreal.

Staff are friendly. The store has the dried sardines my dogs love and I can't seem to buy any where else.

The dog wash area is very unclean. There was dog hair still in the brushes. No towels ready until you ask for it. It is very convenient to have a dog wash station, but I wish they were more consistent in the cleaning area.

My boyfriend Brad and I absolutely adore coming into this store for the good prices and locally sourced products. We always feel so welcomed as a couple here, it is quite refreshing compared to other businesses around. I am also glad they recently moved some of the reptiles from that carpet junk onto actual substrate, looks a lot better. I will definitely be returning in the future

I bought a cat tree from Mr Pets Coquitlam, the sticker I saw on the tag said $423.99, I was charged $469.99 when I went back I was told the lower price was from last year and the higher price was the correct price.....so I bought a tree that went up in value after sitting un sold for a year?? And they refused to honor the lower price...that was my last purchase from this store.Review updated:After my complaint Mr Pets did in the end honor the lower price.

Mr Pets have always been very helpful w recommendations suggestions on food options for our dog. They also typically have our dogs go to food in stock. Prices are good selection is great. A loyalty program of some sort would be great to see.Thanks
