Eden Landscaping and Snow Removal

I called eden for grass cutting. While cutting the grass in backyard the gas got over in the machine and contractor told that he will be back next day. I already called twice and agent told me that someone will contact me shortly, but nothing happened. Also I use chat option and write a message but no one replied.Attached is the image what they did in backyard.

Eden contracted out to build a deck with a partial roof last fall. The deck was fine but within months, the roof boards started falling down, and the poor quality of workmanship was soon apparent. Calls and emails to Eden have gone unanswered. I would give them a zero if it were an option. My parents are in their 90's and don't feel safe going out on the deck. Shame on Eden for not making this right.

Never use this service, they charged me for snow removal but never came, so I called customer service and was on hold for over an hour. Finally I got through to them and they said they would send someone for snow removal. They never came. So I called 3 more times and each time they claimed someone would arrive by the end of the day but it never happened.

Honestly the worst experience I've had with a company. I booked a one time snow removal. Never received confirmation that my request was seen/taken, etc. I did get charged a few hours later for a job that was done at a DIFFERENT HOUSE. I called, sat on hold, emailed, went back and forth. Suffice it to say, my house is still full of snow. My credit card is still charged. And no one responds. Stay far away.

They “automatically” signed you up for spring clean up, if they had done the job on the right property I would’ve let it slide and just paid for the service. But I canceled the property because WE SOLD that property, they did a lawn cutting spring cleanup that charged $285 for a property I removed and no longer owned. I asked them to please mow the correct address and the representative just signs me up for another one and tries to charge me $285 again!!! They have no responses when you do need the lawn or snow removal, but when it’s spring time they charge a hefty fee for it EVEN THOUGH THE LAWN WAS PRECUT. Do not use them. The contractors they use randomly increases the prices which means you don’t actually pay what they say they charge.

They offer your job out to different contractors and you sit back and wait for someone to accept. I wanted simple grass cutting, once per week. Different people came, some some sections were constantly missed as they new contractors were not familiar with the job, sometimes people came, sometimes they didn't. Often they would accept your job and cancel on the day they said they would show up. Days and times aren't consistent. One group showed up at 6:50 am another at 8 pm. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

Thee weeks have now passed.Thought I would give them ample time to deal with the totally botched up job they did in what was supposed to be a yard cleanup. For $500 Eden sent a husband and wife team who spent 3 hours on site, time which included a 1/2 hr break. For that amount they trimmed 7 yews and 3 euonymus bushes, used a leaf blower for a long time and left me with 4 bags of yard waste. Pathetic and laughable except for the amount charged! About half of the area they were to clean up remained totally untouched. they claimed they had completed everything when they drove off. Edging the perennial beds consisted of using a weed whacker to score a 1/2 in deep groove with , you guessed it. no weeding or grass removal. Ben Lewis took no responsibility at all, just said they did everything". What they did do usually takes me under 3 hours when my arthritis is not acting up. Don't hire Eden!!! They are a booking service with no staff and as I said take no responsibility. Totally pathetic!!!!"

Booked them online to remove snow and paid in advance. Never showed up and were unresponsive to text and phone calls during the snow storm of Jan 2022. Called the dispatch several times and they said someone would get back to me. Nobody did.

Eden provides a good alternative to an annual contract giving you plowing services at a fixed rate per plow. No more of the zero sum game of fixed price per season where either the homeowner or contractor loses if the snow is too much/little.I had used them for 2 years where I was asked in the 2nd year if I wanted to renew, which I did. In the 3rd year I moved to a new home without a driveway. Because I had been asked for a renewal in the 2nd year, it never occured to me that the contract would continue forever, then got a bill on the first snowfall for plowing my old home! I asked for a refund and they refused.Eden presents themselves as an online service with an offline product. They should follow online service standards (as well as offline plowing services with annual contracts) and ask customers if they wish to renew. To then refuse to refund the charge for plowing someone else's driveway is terrible customer service.

This is NOT a real Landscaping Company. They are a Lead provider company which distributes your jobs to various Landscaping contractors who sign up with them, throughout the city. They pay their contractors below market average which in turn reflects on the quality of work you receive. If you want a Landscaping company, Hire a Landscaping company, Not an App.
