I can't say enough good things about BWLP. We have been working with Rachel for 1.5 years, since my son was 18 months. Her patience is incredible, and she has been so creative to keep my little one engaged, even through virtual sessions. She is super knowledgeable and is very down-to-earth and understanding of the struggles her clients go through as a family. Thank you for all of your help and guidance, Rachel! My 8-year old son has been seeing Lindsay for approximately 18-months and she is wonderful. They connected right away and he looks forward to his visit with her each and every time. Our son has been seeing Danielle for almost a year and we could not be more ecstatic with his progress. We have been in speech therapy with our son for over 3.5 years. After being with our previous speech therapist, we made the switch to BWLP after a recommendation to work with Danielle who focuses in pediatric speech therapy.There was no playing shy" the very first session. Our son was instantly interested and felt at ease with Danielle. Every session is engaging and fun. Danielle provides hands on activities and games that focus on his needs and his expressive language has developed so rapidly that everyone he talks to has noticed a huge difference in his speech.After each session Danielle has taken the time to provide at-home work to continue help build his speech skills and overall language ability. I have never met a group of people who cared more about kids and about giving them the tools to communicate than the amazing people who work here. Despite the fact that verbal language is so hard for my son he loves going to speech therapy and bounds in with excitement every time. They come up with creative and engaging ways to teach and always go the extra mile.

Our experience with Rachel at Big Words Little People has been amazing. She is so incredible with my very shy little guy to the point he now looks forward to going to his appointments. Even when my daughter has had to tag along, Rachel has been so patient and ensured my daughter was included in the session, helping my son. My son's speech has improved so much in the time that we have been seeing Rachel. She has such an wonderful family centered approach, giving us as parents, the tools and strategies to be able to feel confident to help our son's language develop!

Heather is an amazing. She has the ability to connect with my child in away that I didn’t think a stranger could. My son absolutely loves going to work with Heather. As a result, he is committed, works hard, and engages for the full session. He has seen remarkable improvement in his reading. This is an accomplishment for my 7 year old that is very active, shy to new people, and once he warms up his focus often drifts to his humorous nature. Heather is able to use his personality to her advantage to push him to new heights in his literacy skills. Thank you so much. Our son is so proud to show off his developing skills and his confidence has skyrocketed.

The practitioners are incredible and have helped my kids grow in both confidence and skill. Going to BWLP is a highlight of my kids’ week. Everyone is so friendly and fun and it is clear they prioritize the kids!

Our boys are successful because of Heather and her team. I can’t imagine where they’d be without them. They turn something that is challenging and frustrating for our little people into a caring, supportive and fun experience where children thrive and grow. Forever grateful.

My son has been going for 2 years. Started out with only a few words and no one but me could understand him. He is almost 5 now and we can fully understand him. The girls are patient and fun. I have enjoyed everyone who has worked with him. My son enjoys going to speech and seeing them.

Big Words Little People is an absolute God-send. We initially looked into this option for our son simply because of the location. After working with both Rachel and Lindsay, we are so glad we made the call. Our son was immediately comfortable with both of them and made to feel important and special. Rachel gave us excellent information and was able to gently identify other areas where our son needed support.We found that our son instantly improved, and we were given activities at home to maintain progress. It’s not an overnight “quick-fix”, but we have been so pleased by how far he has come over the last year. Our friends at Big Words Little People are so warm and helpful and, at the same time, very knowledgeable and professional. This is an excellent option for anyone looking for language supports for their child - we would highly recommend them.
