Bannerman Park Suites

Nice for the elderly, but far from functional. Could hear other rooms as walls paper thin, hot water tank could not support enough hot water for this property. Outdated fixtures had issues. Far from worth the price.

Excellent location... can walk to downtown easily.Clean suite.

We loved our suite! The bed was so comfy and the large tub with separate shower was also a huge plus. Location is great too (across from Bannerman Park, close to downtown).A big thanks to Michelle who was able to check us in an hour and a half before normal check-in time. We were severely jetlagged and needed a nap!

Such attention to detail! Large and inviting modern rooms decorated with specialities of bygone eras and cultures.

I find it challenging to put into words how bad our experience at Bannerman Park Suites was. We had to cut our 6-week stay down to 12-nights due to the state of the place. Not suitable for long-term stays.In the first 24 hours, we were put into three different rooms. The first room had an overwhelming smell of urine and the damp carpet soaked into our socks. The housekeeper washed the carpet three times to try to tame the smell to no avail. She kindly upgraded our room for that night which we were grateful for. We opted for a different room with no urine smell the next morning.Our new room didn't have a curtain over the bedside window so we hung a towel which partially covered it. No help from our hosts after we notified them of the missing curtain or any of the other missing amenities, of which there were several.The fire alarms were not found on the ceiling mounts but disassembled and tucked into drawers. Both rooms we slept in at the Bannerman had missing fire alarms which we found and put batteries in ourselves. When we told our hosts this, we were told The fire alarms will be in place for the next guests". Thanks
