Niagara Kennels

Great kennel! I live in Wisconsin and took a road trip to the Falls on Memorial Day weekend. If I had left my dogs back home, I would have had to board them from Thursday-Tuesday. I was able to save myself some money by taking them with me on my road trip and boarding them at Niagara Kennels. Even though they are closed on Sundays, I was able to pick them up for an extra fee. They took good care of my babies. I would definitely use them again if I ever make another road trip to the Falls.

Our pup had a quick stay here while we were in the area and wanted to do things that dogs couldn't. The owner was accommodating and had space for our dog.The location was perfect to drop off as we were heading to Niagara Falls. The owner also gave us a map and let us know of all the cool spots to hit with/without the pup.

My friends and family have been going to Niagara Kennels for the better part of 2 decades and not ONCE have we had a bad experience. Joann and John are clearly passionate animal lovers, who enjoy what they do, and it shows in their work. The prices and policies are posted clearly, and are fair for the market, I have no qualms with any of them. After such a long time if doing business with them, they are like extended family who love our pets as much as we do. I have, I do, and I will continue to recommend this business to anyone in need of a dog groomer or boarding facility. :)

Absolutely amazing boarding!! The owners of the kennel are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. They treat your pet like their own! They're grooming is spectacular! They also have the CUTEST BOWS for your dogs hair!

Having a newly adopted Shih Ztu I needed to find her a good groomer. I called around & read reviews and was extremely happy with the answers I received here. Out of 1/2 dozen places I called they were the only one who said they would pluck her ears, take special care for the hair on her face & paws. I also had great concern about her stress levels. I've only had her 2 weeks and she's still she'll shocked from being dumped on the side of the road, time at the rescue then the 2 day drive across the country. I didn't want to set her back on any progress she made adjusting to her forever home. Gypsy was in good hands while being groomed. Her stress level was almost nonexistent. I'm very happy with their knowledge of the breed, their patience and understanding & the quality of services. I would highly recommend this groomer. I also love the personal touch of the hand made bows and bandana.

Seemed pretty friendly on the phone, so I brought my 7 month old puppy in to get her nails cut. The girl working was super sweet to me and my dog. But the older gentlemen seemed very crabby. He put my dog up on the table to cut her nails and she was just being a dog trying to get herself settled and he screamed at her and threatened to put a muzzle on her (she wasn’t barking or biting) I wanted to leave and felt so uncomfortable but she really needed her nails cut so I just let him do it, and he upcharged me for having a “difficult dog” and her also cut her 2-3 times. Will never return back.

They did a great job grooming Sonny. He even looked proud and happy. Very happy.

Have not used. Visited. But I will use in future. Loved the owners. Place is maintained and animals are taking care of. Doe not smell like chemicals. That's always a great sign
