Nightmare service.Atrociously disrespectful, gaslighting employees.Cancelled the day of equipment arrival.I ordered and was sold a technician appointment specifically due to the tech at my location.This was followed with an email stating I confirmed remote installation. After I booked off work.I didn't confirm remote installation.Spent hours on phone/email warning them it would be an issue in advance. It was an issue.No service available day of router arrival/remote activation.They also leave out coaxial cable.Coaxial cable which is step one for their installation manual.Ask me to buy it ($20 locally or $10 + ship) for a maximum $10 reimbursement.On phone I am gaslit with the paradox that it is my fault for not asking them to send out the coaxial cable when I ordered - but also that they do not have coaxial cables to send me if they wanted to. No cable that's step 1 in your primary product and you don't tell people in advance? Yeah right.No refund for wasted time, headache, buying wifi router I didn't need for service I didn't get due to the worlds worst group of 3rd party tech support.While being offered 2 free months I had to cancel.No discount would be worth paying for if I have to deal with this torture at any point for any length of time in the future.Was told no fees for cancellation, almost letting the guy off the phone before I'm faced with email asking for 25$ restocking fee. Never mentioned on rental/purchase on phone, and not even mentioned on cancellation on phone. The sleaziness of the employees is morbid and offensive.Did all the due diligence to warn them they would screw up. And they still screwed up. And then some.***Still haven't refunded my service fee after cancellation - will update pending ******Will update if my restocking fee is waived - as the last (frankly manipulative) service member I spoke to told me it would be waived - but couldn't put it into writing***Currently shorted money and I fear that will be the case whether or not I again brave the hell that is VMedias 3rd party cx service office.Disgusted and exhausted. Try them out if you hate your time and money.

I would’ve left -5 stars but lowest I can go is 1 star…..Spent hours on the phone with them, exchanged many emails and here’s my opinion: THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, all staff, no knowledge whatsoever, I had a VERY BAD experience with this provider and thank God I didn’t had the chance to start my contact with them. We stopped after they shipped their equipment. Due to their ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE I had to cancel the contract before it even started.Do yourself a favour and look for someone else….So V Media is a NO NO NO.

Have had V-MEDIA DSL 15 for only one month and so far I am very happy with both the internet speed and dependability. The tech support has been all I could ask for as well. I got it mainly to provide internet for home security while I am away from home and I am confident it will handle the job at a fraction of the cost of the Big Guys.

I give them 4 stars because I believe there's room for improvement. The internet slow but it gets you to where you wanna go and helps you do what you gotta do. The customer service is amazing, impeccable really, literally the best I have to admit they take care of their client they give you a call asking if everything is good and they're always open to discuss change. I love VMEDIA and I will absolutely refer to my family and friends.

Absolutely horrible speed, reliability and customer service/tech support. When we canceled they got super aggressive and it took 20 minutes before we finally cancelled service. Avoid like the plagueV media: When people are calling to cancel it’s too late to try to convince me to stay with a laughable 20% discount. We said we weren’t doing your job for you and we would just cancel but you thought we were bluffing. Jokes on you. Rogers 1.5gigabit for 60$ a month. Rogers and bell are gonna put you out of business. Good riddance.

Poor customer service and management.I will never ever go with Vmedia again!I had my worst experience with this company. I subscribed to one of their internet plans recently. I was told to get the package (router and wifi modem) in three business days. However, even after passing thee weeks the package was not delivered. When I have given up and canceled my subscription. Later Vmedia charged me $223 CAD for the package which I did not receive at all.Friendly advise, don’t go with this company for internet services.I wish there was a “Zero Star” option. I would have given zero instead of 1 star!!!

So far I’m pretty unimpressed. The online ordering of the internet/modem was easy enough, it showed up on time and what not. I made it clear when I purchased I needed a cable installation.So the day for the tech comes and keep in mind I work from home and had already clarified that they provide this service. The tech looks for the outlet which I told him numerous times is not there cause it needs to be installed. He then says he can’t cause the cable outside is cut (he should be able to install one that’s literally his job.) They contract Shaw techs btw which explains why it’s sub par.Anyways I asked this guy who I should contact to get this done and he gave no information just left. Then it just gets worse from here because NO one has a clue what’s going on or will fix it. I get it’s not customer services fault the tech didn’t do his job. However, I need internet I work from home. Then when I’m told I’ll hear back in 24 hours about a new install date and that doesn’t happen? Ridiculous. The guy I spoke with today was nice enough but doesn’t have the authority to make appointments or anything. Yesterday I went between customer care and tech support because of communication errors. Also the automated voicemail that takes 10 minutes to get through is the worst thing a company can do. Just infuriates a person to sit their waiting for a voicemail to run when you just need to speak to someone.If I knew it would be this hard to reach someone I wouldn’t have went with this company.If they actually get back to me within 48 hours and have an appointment that is fulfilled I’ll update this review. Until then not impressed.Update: the first tech was in the wrong he should’ve installed it. The second one had a much better understanding and was able to do it. 5 days without internet when you work from home was terrible. However, the internet has been fine since it’s been installed and the people at Vmedia can’t control the techs sadly which is understandable. Their team did their best and it eventually did get solved!

I’m leaving Vmedia as their prices have been increasing regularly and I don’t feel they are competitive anymore.Spoke with the cancellation team. I appreciate their efforts to retain me, but when I asked if there was anything they could offer to retain me, they weren’t able to.

My experience is returning model. I returned everything what Vmedia company gave to me but I still had to pay. Do not rent model from this company. VMedia sells modem only $100.00 but I paid to this company about $130.00 modem because of renting the modem. This dose not make sense? I will not be Vmedia customer anymore !

Worst internet service ever. Multiple interruptions of services. Customer service extremely difficult to reach and when you reach someone, they barely speak English. Don't evene think about being served in French (for Quebec). They increased the price by more than 50% without telling me.
