This clinic was recommended by a colleague when I was concerned about my cat.I am glad that I found Dr. Lin in a right time. With right time, I mean before it is too late!Dr. Lin did a thorough test and found the problem. I was very impressed when she personally text me the next day which was a Saturday to inform me of my Baby boy’s problem.Dr. Lin recommended to change his diet immediately. The vomiting stopped right away. I continued to follow Dr. Lin’s instruction very carefully. It was heart breaking to see innocent fur baby going through pain. My previous clinic had big turn around of vets. No one knew who my cat is.Pricing is also way more reasonable than what I used to pay.I am very pleased that I have Dr. Lin now. Her diagnosis, treatment and follow up is second to none.Thank you so much and keep up the great work.Overall, I would confidently recommend Dr. Lin to any pet mommies out there.

Brand new clinic that speaks English and Mandarin. Very “professional” staff that fail to notify owners of any pre-op procedures. When doctor cant find the exact cause of problem they will start by blaming owner of feeding them the “wrong” food. Then sell owner the worse possible brand with the highest commission return food for your “allergic cat”. If you disagree with any of their treatment plans, they will discharge your pet and tell you go find another vet. Very very charming. Oh btw, they also gave my friends puppy the wrong dosage of flea medication and try to maximize the medical examination charge of $85 by breaking down the vaccination into three stages. There are many more wonderful vets that actually care for pets rather than profit. Beware.

Plenty of appointment availability if you have urgent need for your pet. They also follow up with you after each appointment. On the other hand, they prescribed my 7-month-old kitty 200mg Gapentin as a mandatory requirement prior to see them due to my cat showing too much anxiety and aggression. However, I’ve visited other vet clinics and they didn’t reach the same conclusion, and their recommended Gabapentin dosage is only 100mg, plus no mandatory request to give Gabapentin in order to see the vet.

Highly recommended this clinic and Dr Wendy Wang. Dr Wang was my dog’s vet since 2020 and we were so lucky to meet such a patient, professional and kind doctor. She is very gentle and caring to animals and always spends time and effort on our every visits. We also had one visit at this clinic with Dr Lin and it was a pleasant experience as well.

I'm unhappy with my experiences so far, but I don't think EPIC is a bad vet clinic. In fact I'm convinced they really care about my cat, and I appreciate that. I anxiously awaited their opening because they are next door to my home, so it was convenient to go there. The place is clean and bright and beautiful. I initially brought my cat for an exam because I feared she had a UTI. They did a physical exam and extracted a urine sample by needle with ultrasound. The price for the exam and test was less than I had expected. The test did not conclusively show a UTI. Before I left and before the test results, I was told she was overweight and sold a satiety and urinary health Royal Canin diet which was really costly to me. At home I considered it and opted not to switch her diet, as the nutrition didn't seem as good as what I was already feeding her, and I easily brought her weight under control by switching from free-feeding to scheduled and measured meals, adhering to daily playtime, and going easier on the treats. The vet scolded me for not switching diets and said giving my cat exercise would be dangerous because of her weight. I was so scared because I want the best for my cat, but I thought she was wrong. I had a consultation with another vet who assuaged my concerns and guided me on what a healthy weight would look like and how many calories my cat needed. I also boarded my cat at EPIC for 5 days over Christmas. My cat is very anxious. I left specific instructions for feeding and brought her own food, litter, and blanket. They were in communication with me the whole time. After one day they told me my cat was not eating or eliminating, and I was asked for consent to adapt her diet and administer anti-anxiety medicine. They updated me when she improved. They graciously kept her past checkout time when I told them my return travel was delayed. When I picked her up, she hadn't been grooming herself, her coat was dull and oily, she had multiple servings of wet food sitting out in her kennel, and she had lost a few hundred grams in weight. I informed them that if she slept through feeding they needed to wake her, but because she was stressed they declined to wake her, and I believe it contributed to her poor condition. They were closed on Christmas, but the Dr came in herself to care for my cat without saying anything about it, which I felt was very kind. EPIC may not be the best fit for my anxious cat and her timid human, but their prices are good, they are well-equipped and qualified, and they care about the animals.

First visit to EPIC after hearing excellent reviews from friends.Just... WOW!Luna was weighed and taken to the exam room within 5 minutes of arriving (despite us being 10 minutes late, oops). A concise but thorough line of questions were asked to gather the whole picture of her medical history. It's so rare to meet vet supportive teams that are both friendly, fast and accurate!Dr. Wendy joined us shortly, jovially chatting/petting Luna to relax her. Her vaccines were then fully updated, and Nexgard Spectra was such a fabulous recommendation. All around de-wormer and flea and tick coverage in one yummy chewie? YES, PLEASE!The vet then inspected Luna's hind knees re-assessing known Patellar Luxation. She even brought her colleague (Dr. Lin) who was available at the time to provide her expertise. We quickly decided on a firm action plan for both treatment and recovery that relieved all my anxiety!Perhaps WOW" isn't enough

I wanted to express my disappointment with the service I received from your store regarding my pet's appointment. I had scheduled an appointment and had to drive for 40 minutes to reach your store. However, due to unforeseen traffic, the Google map indicated that I would be 5 minutes late.In light of this, I called your store to apologize for the delay and let you know that I would be there 5 mins late. However, to my dismay, I was informed that your store could not accommodate a delay of 5 minutes, and I was asked to reschedule and cancel my appointment.I understand that scheduling and managing appointments can be a challenge, but I felt that my situation was not taken into consideration. I was already on my way to your store and had only a minor delay of 5 minutes, which I felt could have been accommodated. I felt that canceling my appointment was not an appropriate response to such a minor delay.———I got the response below, and tell the different side of story. If you have phone call system recording, you should know your staff is the only one keeping saying us to arrive at 4:30. I told her I will be there just 5 mins late. Honestly, I shouldn’t call to say just five minutes late, but due to the snow conditions, I respected your time and patience, and called on the way. The truth is that GOOGLE MAP shows we will arrive at 4:20, and our appointment is 4:15!

Perfect place to bring your furry animals and such a beautiful and high quality facility. Five star hotel quality !!! Also the doctors practice the highest quality medicine and surgery. Best vet hotel (oops I mean hospital, but really it looks like a hotel not a hospital!) in Richmond! Very experienced and comprehensive in both wellness exams and urgent/emergency basis.
