Elevenses

At the end of April I used this catering company for a tea party to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday. Although most of the food was enjoyable the scones were a disappointment. As my family are British, I had requested to the manager that along with the fancy sandwiches I wanted “real” authentic British scones with clotted cream and preserves as this is an important part of a traditional English tea party. Instead of the usual plump, lightly golden brown scone, I received thin, hard cookie type triangular things , drizzled with icing that crumbled to pieces when sliced. Perhaps they were stale. The cream which should have been thick, rich and dense replicated powdered Dream Whip. We were all very disappointed and I was left with 2/3 of the scones untouched. The next day, I was asked for feedback from the manager and I was very honest about my disappointment and she offered a gift certificate to use at the cafe’ that would be mailed to me. Last week as I still had not received my gift certificate I emailed the manager but still have received no response. I work in a dental office and know the importance of great customer service but this has not been a good experience. I was really hoping for a catering company that impressed me so much that I would want to suggest it to friends however, this did not fulfill my catering needs.

A very beautiful cafe inside with a variety of foods. The service was excellent, she was very friendly + sweet! I ordered a chocolate chip muffin that was honestly the best muffin I've ever had IN MY WHOLE LIFE (I'm 24 btw and I've had a lot of muffins!) very soft yet crunchy sweet yet salty, perfectly balanced. I want the secret recipe!!A superb experience that made my day!

Cute little cafe for good sandwiches. There's also a cakerie/pastry shop here I think.

Visited their new location in Market Square for my fist visits got to have the house Mac and cheese for only $5! The toppings are added to your order, service is quick and very friendly. Market Square still is pretty sad inside, but check out this place for something yummy and actually fresh!

Michelle at Elevenses makes this place! She knows so many of her customers well and has build a great community out of her small cafe. Their sandwiches (particularly their breakfast sandwiches) are to die for, as is their coffee and other beverages. They make an effort to accommodate those who are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. They're awesome!

Great food, service is friendly most of the time, great coffee. Love that they give back to the community. Pricing more than say a Tim Horton's experience but definitely on par with other similar cafes.

My husband and I were very impressed with the food from Elevenses and also the great service we got from Michelle!!!!The meals are made with fresh ingredients and are so tasty!!!!Can't wait to order our next meal!!!!!Barbara and Monte L.

Extremely high quality food, very personalized customer service and great seasonal options! They have some unique beverages as well. They have delicious desserts and beverages as well. It is a very small cafe, but depending on when you go, it is not always too loud or busy. It can take time to prepare the food but it is all fresh. They know how to serve good food with excellent service and variety. This is one of kw's best kept secrets!

I love this place! The food is delicious, it is prepared fresh, and you can text your order in if you are a regular customer. It is a cozy place to have brunch.

Stopped by for lunch today and had the turkey veg sandwich. I can honestly say this might have been the best sandwich I've ever had. Great coffee and atmosphere. Highly recommend!
