Northern Walleye Lodge

Just came home from a great week at Northern Walleye Lodge. The scenery/lake is amazing, the boat and fishing were great, the cottage we stayed in was nice with a really nice view of the lake. Saw lots of bald eagles. Warren and Melanie were great hosts and really made us feel welcome, it was as if we were staying with friends. Come here if you want a relaxing fishing getaway up north!

Been to many fly in fishing trips, but this drive in fishing trip was by far the best I have ever been on.Warren and Melanie and their staff were the best and very accommodating. The fishing was by far was the best I ever had (walleye, pike and small mouth) The whole adventure was so good I have already booked for 2023 and my wife is going. Can’t say or express enough about this lodge and owners how great they are. Al Booze

Feels like fly in but you can drive in! Fishing is great, cabins are well appointed and far from each other. Warren and Mel are great hosts. There's a reason our group went right back to this place in 2022 after we couldn't do our trip for the previous 2 years in Canada due to COVID.

Best road trip and fishing Lodge ever.The drive up is something everyone should experience once in life.Eagles, Bears, Moose, Loons, and fish fish and more BIG fish.Amazing hosts, seriously the nicest lodge I have ever stayed at and I have been to a lot.Private doc, Wood fire place, nice people and good fishing.I already want to go back.

My wife and I have been going to Northern Walleye lodge/Camp Missanabie for the past 12 years. We have a great time every time we go. The cabins are clean and well maintained. The first few years there was only generator power during the day. Warren the current owner has invested in Solar power so the power is now on 24 hrs. Warren and his crew are very helpful and make the time there very enjoyable. They have good tips on where the fish are and what to catch them on.The fishing is good, I have been there in May, June, July, August and September and have always caught fish. I now have other family members going and many friends. I can't wait until August and September when my 2015 trips are planned. If you love wildlife as my wife and I do you will see Eagles and beaver and may see Moose, otters or black bear. The sunsets from the camp are worth the trip. Hope to see you there.

I can't wait until August when my 2016 trip is planned. The sunsets from the camp are wonderful. Warren has very nice boats if you don't have your own. Or if you don't want to bring yours. My son and I plan on making this a yearly event.

We spent a wonderful week with Warren and Melanie. The weather was perfect,the fishing was excellent. We were able to relax and enjoy everything the camp has to offer. We are booked in already for next year. Thank you Warren and Melanie for making our family so welcome.

I spent a wonderful week bear hunting and fishing with Northern Walleye Lodge. The facilities and service were great. They did a fantastic job of running the baits and providing the best hunt they could possibly give. All of the staff were a lot of fun to spend time with. Lots of fun, Beautiful landscapes and great people! Thank you.

Me and my husband enjoyed the American plan in the end of May this year. Warren and Melanie were wonderful gracious hosts and the food was fantastic. The cabins were very clean and private with breath taking scenery to enjoy. Dog Lake had some great fishing that left us with many amazing memories. You couldn't wipe the smile off my husbands face for weeks after our coming back home. We will be returning this fall or next spring with out doubt and bringing friends along with us to enjoy the lodge.
