The Combine
We've been waiting to come here for years when we were in the area and we finally made it out. The restaurant is great. We made a reservation ahead of time and sat on the patio. The server was super friendly and made some excellent suggestions.She was very attentive as well.We had the corn dog bites to start which was a great dish and the mustard was a great compliment. For dinner we had the coconut curry braised beef and the buttermilk chicken dishes. We loved both of them. Lastly for dessert we both opted to try the spiced Chocolate torte which if you still have room for dessert you have to try. We wanted to buy a whole dish of that to bring home with us.Overall excellent service, amazing food and great ambiance. We would definitely come back and we'll tell all our friends. Thanks for having us.

The restaurant is kinda in old home that is nicely decorated and has surprisingly enough room to be comfortable while eating. The waitresses were extremely kind and had us seated almost as soon as we arrived. The menu is a bit more pricey then you would think, I believe the bill was $65 for two the two of us. We had the perch taco (it is just a taco not tacos") it's $6.50 just for one of those

Finally got a chance to come to the Combine. I’ve been wanting to visit for almost acouple years now!!And it was everything I’d hoped it would be! Ambience was lovely, beautiful grounds and landscaping. We were seated in the tent, so nice to have a proper tent instead of just an umbrella. The menu was phenomenal and it was hard choosing which options to go with.I love that The food is all fresh and local. The flavours and ingredients are well thought out and pair together beautifully.Cocktail list is very impressive and drinks are beautifully presented.We had a lovely evening and ended up taking friends back afew weeks later. The menu had changed and everything was once again fantastic!!The house is and old Victorian home with a lot of the originally architecture preserved. It is absolutely gorgeous…can’t wait to eat inside!Bathrooms are spacious, up to date and very clean.We will be returning often for sure!!

Amazing! We attended a Kitchen Party (dining in the kitchen with the chef and his team) and it was a wonderful experience. The food was great, as always. But the experience was even greater. It was fascinating watching & chatting with the chef as he and his team prepare the meal. Overall a great experience!!!!

Had an amazing dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The staff are overwhelmingly friendly and made made us feel very welcome.It's nice to have a restaurant that serves fresh, local, and artisan dishes. Being able to celebrate all that Norfolk offers in a relaxed, homey, yet classy atmosphere is amazing.The food was fantastic and the protions were are perfect. Not too big and not too small - you will leave satisfied. The drink menu was able to highlight local craft breweries and wineries. We had a bottle of Burning Kiln -Strip Room and loved it.There was relaxing dinner music playing theought the restaurant but it wasn't overbearing.The menu changes every few weeks to showcase what is in season locally. We love the idea and will be back soon to see what is new.We will definitely be back.Pandemic related info: Vaccine Passports and ID was checked.at the door, masks were worn by all staff and visitors away from their tables, and the tables were 6ft apart.

Excellent atmosphere in this large old home in Simcoe with oak trim. Great appetizers followed up with entrées that tasted as good as they looked!!! Our server was awesome and she showed that she enjoyed her job. I had a great steak and shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes. Suggest to call for reservations

Excellent food staff environment. Local food when available. They make there own condiments and meat. Michelle was pleasant, knowledgeable and had good timing. Wood stove too, for pizza.

We had an unforgettable culinary experience last night at The Combine. Chef Ryan, Chef Robert and Amanda, our hostess, are incredibly passionate about the value of what it means to eat together. We were part of the kitchen party, which meant ourselves and another couple got to sit and converse with one another and the team while they created the most flavourful and thoughtful dishes. Every dish has a story behind it, and every ingredient intentional. You can truly feel the love and the passion Ryan and Robert have for their craft. Incredible, out of this world food and drinks were had, and we had the most meaningful and interesting conversations. I was reminded of the power of food and its ability to bring us together. This is our new spot, and we couldn't be happier to make the drive from Sarnia. So grateful to you all for giving us a wonderful night.

This restaurant is located in a beautiful old house where you can eat inside or on a the charming porch. I had the excellent Mediterranean pizza as well as an heirloom tomato and mozzarella appetizer. Food was excellent and the glass of house wine for $8 can't be beat!

I have been to the Combine on multiple occasions and it's always great, but our recent visit for their Kitchen Party was phenomenal. The atmosphere was fun and beautiful, the food was delicious and it was great getting to see how it's all prepared and interacting with the fabulous staff while they work. I would give more stars if I could. Thank you Ryan, Robert and Amanda for giving us a girls Christmas to remember.
