Bedford-Hammonds Plains Community Centre

This is a good place to exercise. The facilities are clean and there are many toilets, changing rooms, and shower rooms. I can play basketball, soccer, badminton, volleyball, etc. If you like sports, come and try it.

The program was amazing but the facility was not ideal. The parking is terrible. Too many spots designated and not clear where you can park, only where you can't. Too much integration with the high school. There are no change tables or amenities for small children/ toddlers in either the washroom or the facility. The washroom was not very clean. Everywhere there were paper signs taped to things telling you what you can't do. It would be better to have one sign with rules and to distribute expectations in advance of program start. The staff didn't know anything. They couldn't even confirm program start times because they couldn't access schedules. They were not very helpful. Fortunately the program facilitator and the program was awesome. The gym was large and clean.

Manager working here was too rude and he was joking on a valid question that we asked. Not a good experience from front facing staff.

We worked a Pop-up" Covid testing sight here. Protocols were fairly strict and most of the facility was not open. What we did use/see was quite nice."

I enjoyed watching my grandson playing basketball here......Great place that can accommodate larger numbers of teams...a modern facility with a pretty good size parking area.
