Good service for a fast food place. Their menu has a good selection with fusion food. We tried their Mac and cheese, poutine, double fried chicken and coconut curry with chicken. The curry soup was like a comfort food, not much of a curry taste. The poutine is a must try. Follow our Instagram for more adventures @GTA.Eat !

Food is good here, even though they have been cutting back the portions and raising the prices over the years. Friendly staff. I don’t recommend going an hour before closing because most of the items on the menu will be “sold out” or put away for the day.

Update: thanks to Basil box for inviting me again. I tried Garlic Rice Silog this time: vegetarian and chicken version for same. Being a vegetarian, I tried this dish with Tofu as protein. It was a bed of rice, with sautéed tofu, a fried egg, pickled carrots and onions and you can then top it with sauces of your choice. We had sweet mayo and Thai sweet and sour sauces. Likewise was chicken version except that there was Chicken as protein in stead of Tofu. Tofu dish was amazing. The coating on tofu was so flavourful yet not very spicy. You can of course top it with additional chilly big you prefer spicy. I personally liked this dish a lot, however my partner didn’t like his chicken version much as he complained of dryness again despite topping it with both additional sauces. We both would love to return for Tofu Rice Silog as our lazy day takeouts.Previous review: I took a takeout for dinner for me and my partner. I got vegetarian Pad Thai and Double Fried Chicken with rice. Both lacked flavours and were very dry. It was difficult to even swallow. And it’s not that they are charging any less than usual good-quality Thai takeout places. As a vegetarian, I could smell/taste meat in my Pad Thai which was even more disgusting experience to have. Maybe Tofu was fried in same utensil as Meat or Pad Thai was assembled in same wok as non-vegetarian dishes.

After working out today, my friend and I went with Basil Box, and I haven't had such a delicious sauce and chicken salad in a long time.The last but not the least, end of night boxes are surprisingly fresh.

My best friend and I received coupons to dine at Basil Box and we both loved our experience here! Our meals were tasty and hearty, fully customized to our liking and preferences, the restaurant was clean, and the vibe was great. The Thai Teas were quite interesting... not bad, but sweeter than we expected. Overall a great time!

I couldn't believe my eyes, but a healthy meal can be so delicious and beautiful. The color and fragrance are perfect, I really love it.Also I want to blow a wave of manager Sean's service. The young man is so handsome, very polite, and very nice. He is willing to do everything himself for a mere meal worth tens of dollars. I believe he will be a very successful person in the future.

Orderd braised beef mac and cheese , Mac was really tasty as was the picked veggies , Malaysian braised beef was ok for me , overall would go back to try diff plates , seems like a clean and tidy place

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Basilbox and I’m surprised that they have soo many food options now. I usually get the regular make your own box meals but I got the bao and fried rice this time. The bao were pretty bomb and the chicken in it was thick! The fried rice was okay. The meals before were already expensive for what it is but seeing that they went up in price again has me second guessing if I would come back
