Excellent and fresh produce. They even have cactus pears, it is so hard to find this fruit anywhere. Amazing quality! Even the blueberries were big and sweet. The owner was nice and let me take a picture of their pita factory in the store. #1 Pita in Calgary. Definetly RECOMMEND!

Bought a box of bread sticks with expiration date of 12/9/2024. Opened the box, opened the plastic bag and a foul smell of spoiled old oil came out of it. Like bathroom smell combined with burned oil in a fast food restaurant!! We even each had one against all senses and the aftertaste is as if you are drinking gasoline!! So I looked back at the expiration date and realized it's a sticker attached on the box instead of the date actually being printed on the box. I removed the sticker and you can see there has been a clear cut under it on the box .. think about when you peel a sticker off and the cardboard box peels off with it because of the glue, it wouldn't peel off with sharp clear edges, right? This one did though! as if someone has tampered with the box and removed the information that was printed on the box about the expiration date. On the box it says don't consume the product if it is expired. Sadly I have to throw this out. The smell is unbearable. Also when I was shopping there I saw they had golden berries. The first 2 boxes I picked up were mouldy throughout...

I recently found this gem for an autentic mediterranean / middle eastern food store. You find varieties of grocery, produce and bakery products from the highest quality to moderate economic options available. I loved the bakery department. Pita breads are being baked fresh every day.Cons: I paid $37+ for a tin 1L of AL'ARD claimed to be premium extra virgin olive oil, but unfortunately, I wasted my money, so be warned. #This has nothing to do with the store, and it tastes nothing close to olive oil, be it premium extra virgin." So don't be fooled by its label."
