Paddle River Dam Campground (Peter's Pond Area)

The campsites are spaced nicely by trees so you're not looking into your neighbor's campsite. Very private. Campground caretakers are friendly and keeping this little gem of a place tidy and well maintained. This campground is kid and dog friendly. It's quiet, and many birds can be heard day and night,making this a relaxing getaway location.

Beautiful spot. Quiet. Nice park where kids play like family. Bathroom very clean. Brenda is a sweet, accommodating, patient lady. Hubby very friendly too.Can't wait to come back!!!!!

Another great experience at Paddle River Peters Pond Campground.Very large sites. Even the ones that don't have trees are good as you are still far away from your neighbors.Clean facilities with indoor showers and toilets.Campers seem to be on the experienced" side of life so it is very respectful.The staff are polite and approachable.10 out of 10 experience. I can't think of anything that needs changing."

A nice quite campground the spots are easy to access and there are so big ..5 mins driving from the highwayLess price including electricityWashrooms are very clean and showers are available with hot water .You can walk to the dam and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake.The service is excellent and Brenda is so amazing ,All the staff are helpful and friendly

Our first visit to Peters Pond but will not be the last. One of the cleanest and quietest camprounds. The showers and bathroom were spotless. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Sites are large and private. Hidden gem.

We heard great things about this campground so decided to check it out. Brenda was great to deal with while booking and again at check-in. We got a site at Peter's Pond which is the lower campground. The washrooms were kept clean throughout the weekend. Our site" was actually parking in the field behind other sites so it was pretty open and a lot of people passed through on their way to the washrooms. We felt that $30/night to camp in a field with no services was really high. Given that and the fact half the campground doesn't have much for trees at the sites for privacy (and the upper Paddle Dam only has 2 fairly private sites) I'm rating it 4 stars. We would definitely stay here again but be selective on which site we book."

Absolutely love this place! It was the Cleanest campground we've ever been too. Beautiful place. Will definitely camp here again!

Had a great time. Sites are big and easy to maneuver in. The price was excellent, compared to other campgrounds we've stayed at. Electric, water,sewage for 45 bucks a night,you can't beat that. Very clean sites,washrooms and showers. Firepits with grills you could actually cook on. Not sure about wood cost, cause we brought our own, but heard it is available there for a minimal cost.The grounds attendants were awesome,very friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend,and will be going back again. The only minor downside is that you have to go about a half mile to get to the dam to do some good fishing,but I travel that far for a beer,so why not a fish to. There's a pond closer by,yet it didn't look like there was much fishing action going on,I might be wrong tho.

My family and I have been coming here for the last 6 years or so and consider it our hidden gem for camping at. It’s quiet, well maintained, and a great price for what you get compared to any provincial campground in the area. The care takers are fantastic and always easy to deal with.

Had my moms 44th birthday here one of the best funniest experiences of my life the couple that runs it is amazing wonderful and sweet great pond for kayaking and paddle boarding pet friendly and fun friendly
