The only thing we love more than our Volvo is the service we get at Volvo. They go above and beyond to make sure each experience is great. The very few issues that have come up get solved quickly and collaboratively, the cleaning + detailing they do is so well done, they make sure I have a loaner car that actually fits us and even help switch over the seats when I have my hands full with the kids, which I've never had before. I've mainly worked with Miguel and Merrilee and have only gratitude for them. The entire service team is positive, inviting, helpful and happy. I actually look forward to going in and my 4 year old loves to voice text the service line to tell them all about how much she loves our XC90 and appreciates them keeping her on the road so we can go on adventures. The Volvo team texts her back and she thinks the car is talking to her; it's so much fun watching her face light up. I recommend them highly based on my experience. Thanks for all you do!

We bought a used Volvo XC90 and visited this dealership to get the full inspection so we can get a better idea about our vehicle. And trust me, the service department specially Merrilee Reid, goes above and beyond. We never bought a premium brand before and Volvo people made us realize its not that costly or scary to be Volvo customer. Bought a used V60 last week, beautiful car, Andy was my salesman, great service and Janice was the business manager I dealt with, super fast approval and process. Overall great experience and great service.

Before coming here I looked at so many other dealerships but no one compared. They took care of me from the get go, i didn’t feel smothered by the salesperson, the interaction was so smooth and the approval was seamless. Highly recommend.

Rick is the sales associate that helped me at the time I get the vehicle, he is patient and very willing to help. Unfortunately this do not apply to the service department.Today is December 22, 2022, 8 in the morning and it was minus 36. My car was sitting in the garage all night, I tried to remote start the 2021 XC60 using the Volvo app, three times it wouldn’t connect. No problem, I walked to the garage and start the vehicle manually. After nearly 15 minutes to let the car warm up I am ready to head to work.As soon as I return the garage I can hear the sounds of engine keep going up and down. I jumped into the vehicle and found the turtle symbol being displayed. I shut it off and wait for a while, eventually it allows me to drive with check engine light on. I made it to work and called Volvo of Edmonton immediately, the service department returned my call. The Volvo staff that called sounds very irritated right from the beginning, I was trying to explain the situation and he simply cut me short and want me to listen to him. Basically all he was saying is the engine value was frozen because of extreme cold temperatures, I need to let it sit for 15 minutes then restart the car, once the turtle symbol disappeared I can start driving. And a lot of customers are having the same issue this morning.I then brought it up to him and say: my other car Toyota Prius start with no problem and they both sit in the same garage. This over $70000 XC 60 can’t even handle -30 degrees? He said this is not about the value of the car. Of course it does! I spent that much on the car to serve me! So Volvo of Edmonton, let me ask you this, do you expect customer have 15 minutes of their time in the morning to hope the turtle symbol won’t show up? What if after 15 minutes and the turtle symbol remains there? Then I cannot even go to work! I remember when I first get the vehicle, I asked Rick for the block heater and he laugh and responded: who use block heater nowadays, well…. Clearly the car need it!This coming weekend you guys won’t be open, and I was in hope Volvo of Edmonton can give me some assistance or at least better advice. And that’s all you can do with your self claiming excellent service. Very disappointed with the experiences and now I am hoping the car will start after I finished work today.This is clearly a design flaw of the engine, and seems to me that Volvo do know about it consider how many Volvo drivers are having the same issue as mine. I need a better explanation or solution from you guys. This is not the right way to treat your customer, let alone for a luxury car brand!
