This is the best burger you can eat in Calgary, I love the options of topping. The sides are really really good, onion rings are my favourite. This is the best onion ring I found in any fast food joint. Very fresh and crispy. Grill chicken and veggie burgers are awesome.

Kept me fed during the scamdemic. The restaurant was a place of refuge from the madness surrounding me. I spent about a year coming there every day after my favorite Subway went crazy with the stupid rules.Of course the burgers and fries were delicious, especially the yam fries with the special sauce. Sitting for hours (people rarely ventured out in those days) in my favorite spot, surfing the internet using my phone for WiFi plugged into the power socket. I I tried every single trim combo they had, including the Halal burger, but I like my burgers juicier than Halal.It was fun and interesting talking to the owner and finding out about his life prior to the restaurant. When things picked up later, it got pretty busy and they didn't need me so much anymore, which was good, as it meant business was getting far better, but I mainly liked to be there for Tom, the owner, if I remember his name correctly.It made one of the worst chapters in Canadian history one of the best times of my life. Thanks, Tom!

Tasty, lean burgers, creative toppings and awesome poutine. The fries are delicious. It was an UberEats order. I've eaten at other locations in Toronto and it's always great.

I really value the warmth and consistency of South St. Burger on 130th Ave SE, as it is always going above and beyond for the regulars who stop by. It is my top choice for burgers and fries in the south - yes, pun intended. The general atmosphere of the space is organized and inviting, and there are always good vibes to be had. Above all else, whenever I go here I feel invited, safe and comfortable, and I frequently see others sitting down to dine in whenever I visit. Along with this, the burgers are grilled nicely to taste and they are prepared right in front of you. On a more personal note, there is a tangible nostalgic feel to all of these different aspects of the store, and it makes the experience that much more delightful. Highly encourage others to visit this location!

My first time there. Small patty, you have to pay extra for cheese and bacon. Bacon very greasy. Very small piece of lettuce. Sweet potatoes fries did not taste like it. Milk shake runny. Very pricey for what you get!Staff is nice.

Awesome Onion Rings, everything came very hot and fresh. Was disappointed with the burger bun though as it was quite dry, like when it’s close to expiry date. Chicken piece in one of the burgers was fairly small. I ate half of the burger without finding any chicken in it. It was flavourful though.

First time at South St. Burger and I will definitely be back! Very friendly and helpful staff; very good variety of toppings and burger options.Is definitely on the pricier side for a burger, but it was really flavorful!! Onion rings were really good too and came with a chipotle mayo dip. Not greasy at all!

Poutine! Always have to have it when in Canada! Right amount of gravy and cheese ratio and the gravy is just right and not overly salty. Fries are crispy and absorbed the gravy. Must get when here!As for the burger, we saw a poster for the Korean burger but was highly disappointed. The burger itself was overcooked and dry. There wasn't enough korean sauce which made the overall burger to be extra dry.This restaurant is all self service, ordering at the counter and then picking up your order at the counter when it's ready.There are plenty of tables and some still had the covid barriers which I liked. Tables were clean and orderly. Overall, would return for the Poutine but would pass on the burger.
