Words cannot describe the view that you get from this campground. Book early - they have few small overflow spots. Nice trail is walking distance from the site.

I am super impressed with how Alberta Parks invested so much money to make this campground great. The newly modern washroom is perfect, no question about that. The size of the campsite for tenting is excellent, free woodfire, easily navigate through GPS, and 15 minutes drive to Jasper downtown. The workers are mostly youth, and that is great. You would have to chance to meet people from all over the world that go camping here. And be ready to meet some wildlife, especially in the morning. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

This campground is so convenient. It’s close to the city. For me a flush toilet is a must and there are hot showers as well which is really good. We got loop 16 but we can walk to loop 15 for shower. The price is good too. We paid around $29.50 for a night.

I stayed here for 5 days with family and hands down it's one of the best campgrounds i have ever stayed in. It has amazing views of the mountains and it's very close to Jasper town center.Camp staff was always very friendly and kept everything very clean and well maintained.

Whistler - Jasper campground is our 113th stop and we stayed for 13 night and would rate it a 4.7 overall. If interested in staying here during peak season, you should become very familiar with the new Parks Canada reservation system (which I really like) and understand it will be difficult to book a slot unless you did so the day when the reservation system opened. And be sure to buy your park pass to expedite your visit - in our case one for the car and one for the motor home. Initially concerned as we received a message from Parks Canada a month out that there were water/sewer issues and our reservation was in limbo status. Received another about a week out indicating we might not get the site we wanted. But on arrival, all was well as the work was completed on our section the night before. First off - kudos to the planners and engineers for the excellent thought they put into the upgrades to the park - it just makes sense. When you arrive, you pull into a large parking lot next to a very modern check in building. There were 4 reservations desk open, the line moved quickly and the Parks Canada reservation agent was very friendly and helpful. We were in section 54 in an interesting mini-loop set up with long/pull through pads and good staggered spacing between the sites. In fact when the loop was filled, it did not seem like there were that many rvs in the park. This area has paved roads and 50 amp service. The bathrooms are new and clean. Be aware that most if not all pines trees in some sectionshave been removed due to pine beetle infestation but on the upside, great views of the surroundings and easier to see the wildlife which was plentiful, especially elk. All in all, highly recommend this park. Connectivity: No park WiFi; Verizon 6.55 down/1.28 up; T-Mobile 2.68 down/0.08 up and all highly variable before 10 am and after 5 pm.

Nice big campground. My favorite part was they supplied free firewood with ticket purchase! Very nice bathrooms and showers, camp sites provided with fire pit and picnic table. Sites are a little close but fairly normal for most grounds.

Good facilities, easy check in, spots are pretty close together, but really easy to get into town. Free firewood was a bonus! View from site 3A.The one thing they should do is add temperature controls in the shower stalls! Showers were freezing so people would stake out the accessible stall that allowed you to make the water warm.

The first two pictures are the actual “campsite”. The third picture is the same site from the park’s reservation website. We had hoped for a lovely spot in the crown jewel of Canada’s national parks and instead got a barren spot over a patched up concrete pad. This is the 1 star part of my review. The 5 star part is about the washrooms and showers that were very clean and new and not overcrowded so that was definitely a nice experience and staff I spoke with were as friendly as can be.

We loved camping here!! The bathroom and shower facilities were so clean and high quality. We spotted several elk there and enjoyed watching them peacefully grazing. Would definitely come back.
