Extremely happy with our move from one province to another with this company!! From the easy scheduling and exact quote with Steve to the seamless delivery day service. Shawn, Doug & Chuck showed up on time, took great care of our belongings, put in a hard few hours of heavy work with smiles, great attitudes and effort in the rain! Such a pleasure to work with and would hire again!

My partner and I used this service to deliver our goods from storage into our new home. The two employees worked extremely efficiently and had a smile on their face the whole time, enjoying and showing pride in their work. The company had great rates and great customer service. I will be using them again for our next move in the future.

My husband and I were moving to a very downsized home from an area where we lived for 48 years. Emotional. A lot of goods! We had the movers twice, once for a giveaway/dump run, and then the move. Our movers, Derek, Ronnie and then Jeremy were so skilled, and also very attuned to our emotional exit. They were smart, kind, professional and perfect. I would recommend these men and this company unreservedly . And we are both so very grateful. As well our boxes will be picked up and given on. So lovely!

I give high praise for Mark and his company for a successful move of a curved glass china cabinet from PEI to Halifax. The movers at both ends were careful and professional in handling this very fragile cabinet. From the moment I saw it in their truck I had full confidence it would arrive safelyThis item had to be picked up quickly and Mark was very accommodating to do that. I had received quotes from other moving companies, some were even lower, but the professionalism and high online ratings and reviews swayed me to Affordable, and I dont regret that decision in the least.My dynamic moving duo of Shawn and Doug arrived on time and they somehow managed to maneuvered the trailer up my steep driveway without much trouble. They were friendly and professional and made the move as easy and stress-free as possible. Delivery was just as easy and the guys managed it in record time, all while fighting their way through downpours and ensuring my items and floors didn't get soaked. I had ordered a new mattress which arrived a few days early on moving day and even though it wasnt on the truck, they offered to take it up stairs to my bedroom for me so I could sleep on it that night!I will definitely be using Affordable Canadian Movers for my next move (hopefully not anytime soon though) and would trust them in a heartbeat for picking up items and delivering to your home. Updated for March 2023 - We moved today and the only place I would call was Affordable Canadian Movers. Doug and Rob were amazing. They were super personable and loved what they were doing, and took great care of our stuff. They kept us updated on their progress and anything they need from us to make sure the move was smooth and efficient. They had extremely good things to say about working for Affordable Canadian Movers, which makes sense given my other great experience in 2017. Hopefully I don’t have to move for a long time, but I know who I’ll be calling if I do.2017 - Brodie and Brian were a fantastic team! They arrived when they said they would and were careful and efficient with our belongings. To top it off they were really friendly and super polite! If you need help moving, these are your guys!

(Update June 2023) - the owner reached out to me regarding my concerns and was very understanding and wants to remedy the situation. 3.5 ⭐ and counting).Initial impressions of A.C.M. was positive: they were available when I needed them (within a limited timeframe), at a reasonable rate, worked hard and got the job done. Yes, a few items were broken and scratched - but some loss is expected with any move, no matter how carefully packed. So, 4-stars there.As I was downsizing from a 1,400-sq. ft. house to a 1BR apartment, a lot of things went into storage. Due to repeated storage costs, I decided it was time to empty my storage unit, which is where the issues really appeared.Three major issues became apparent. Although they assisted significantly with the packing, none of the boxes were labeled. Even what room they came from would have been a help but there were things in boxes from seemingly every room. And because nothing was labeled, if I need something, it meant searching through every box. Just this week, I found items in storage that I've been searching for, for years. And some things just didn't make sense, like placing my heavy, cast-iron skillet on top of my glass and china teapot collection (half of which was destroyed).But the worst offense just came to light. They stored my chest freezer at the very back corner of the storage unit, which is fine. What was definitely not fine was putting my new power mitre saw (and a few other tools) inside the freezer. This was made worse by not leaving the lid open for ventilation at all, or even pulling the drain plug. So, my tools were completely destroyed, besides being lost" for years. And the freezer is pretty much a write-off as it's now rusted inside since it's been holding a bit of water for years. Totally avoidable and if I had any idea it had power tools in it
