The Squire - Pub on Locke
Last night 6 of us came here for dinner. What a wonderful experience we had. All of us were thrilled with our delicious dinners. Our server was super friendly and attentive. In fact, everyone that worked there made us feel so welcome. I will definitely go back!! The only issue was the parking since street parking is the only parking available in the area.

If you are celiac, please be aware that you will have very limited choice. Although many items are listed as gluten free, many of them go in the deep fryer with breaded items and so in fact are not gluten free. There are breaded chicken wings and gluten free non-breaded chicken wings, and they both go in the same deep fryer. The explicitly listed gluten free dessert, not made on site, has a non-gluten free crust, as verified by the wait staff reading the box. I can understand not bothering to serve a segment of the population, as that is a business decision. I object to misrepresentation.

Great summery atmosphere on the patio, quick friendly service, and excellent food! The fish tacos were perfect - breaded but still light and fresh. Definitely a new favourite.

The service was great. Although we only went for apps and drinks we left plenty full. We also split a lobster roll. Overall nice experience. Not quite a pub, not quite upscale dining. A nice clean atmosphere with a fairly broad menu to find something you’ll enjoy.

Nice beer and food.The staff was also kind.Only issue was the lady who order pasta instead of a hamburger. Nor sure about she was thinking.Anyway, the pasta was also good, lol!

Can I give a higher rating than 5? First time there and it was exceptional. Food... delicious. Won Ton Nachos, best ever! Cauliflower bites, perfection. Wings, fries, salad, chicken ramen bowl, to die for! Prices vs portion, customer wins!However, the food wasn't even the best part. The staff was unbelievably fantastic. Chrissy and Aaron top notch service. They will be what brings us back. Friendly, fun, approachable, accommodating and incredibly helpful. I hope the management/ownership knowledge and appreciate what they have in this team. Thank you for not only an incredible lunch but an amazing experience. *****

Food was very good. Fish & chips were excellent as was the steak frites. Service was a little lacking but it was the end of a Sunday dinner rush on the patio so I'll cut some slack there. Definitely will be going back.

Had the miso salmon with rice. It was divine, arrived promptly, and the service was amazing. I went for lunch with family, and they returned for dinner on the same day because it was so good!

Honestly was expecting more especially from all the good reviews. The fried chicken burger was the most disappointing, I didn’t like the sauce they put all over the fried chicken and it was a lot of batter and less chicken—hard to eat. I also found the buffalo lobster dip to be underwhelming, it tasted like regular chip dip. The mashed potato side was good with the gravy, along with the aperol spritz.
