Smiling Stars Daycare

My older son has been attending Smiling Stars since he was 2.5, and our whole family couldn't be happier! He really loved the time spent here. Loved all the toys and the teachers, also the food. He always wants to be the last one leave the daycare. Now my younger son starting attend the baby class part time and seems like he had fun time at the daycare as well. I am recommending Smiling Stars Daycare Edgemont Village location.

I recently completed my practicum at Smiling Stars. This was the best experience I have had in an Early Childhood environment. The staff are wonderful, kind and open to new ideas. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be apart of Smiling Stars.There are many amazing activities for the children. The day is always FULL of creativity. An awesome and safe place for children to be apart of! :)

The supervisor (Mydie) and teachers at the Pemberton centre are very friendly and welcoming. Love that they will provide daily updates on the kids via app, and also have their own chefs to prepare the meals and snacks. Their programs are well-curated and they even have a personalised binder for each kid to store some of their works and pics! Would definitely recommend this centre!

Our daughter attend Pemperton location and we love this daycare so much. The teachers are extreamly respectful. They are communicating very well for everything happened to our kids. I would love to recommend this daycare to anyone I know.

We couldn’t ask for a better daycare. Our daughter has been going to the new Seylynn location for just over a month now and it’s been amazing for her socially and developmentally. The teachers are amazing and do the best activities for their little brains. The manager, Tory, is a dream and such a pleasure and comfort to see every day. Can’t say enough good things about this amazing daycare!

My son Nikan started from October in Smiling star edgemont boulevard. I would like share many details about everyone working there from the manger Rezvana who is so kind and friendly and all the stuff. But in general I love here because my son is so happy. He always excited to see his teachers and friends and has lots of fun. I get this positive energy and I feel My son spend a time beside his family. Especial thanks for infant teams where my son is there and supper kind Rosy who gives all her loves to our kids. I am so grateful to choose this daycare.Thank you all amazing smiling stars team❤️

I can't speak more highly about the Edgemont location! My two kids attend here and always enjoy their time at daycare. The director and teaching team at this location are kind, caring and very responsive and accommodating to any of my children's needs. The facility is beautiful and offers an amazing indoor and outdoor space for the kids. Not to mention the kids get out for walks to the local parks frequently, which is a huge bonus. And we are always kept updated on what are kids are doing each day via the mobile app. Could not recommend this place more!

I love smiling stars edgemont location and am so pleased my son has attended here. He absolutely thrives at daycare and runs into the door to meet his care-givers. The main reasons I love SS are the staff (so lovely, knowledgeable, caring and it has been the same staff the whole time we have been here - over 1 yr), the food program (the food is healthy, made with fresh ingredients, and is offered frequently and given until your kid is full), the activities (are always creative and engaging for my kid), the facility (new, clean, full cribs for 0-3 to nap in!) and the management (well run, great communication, fair policies). I feel very lucky to be a SS family ! Get on the waitlist yesterday.

I cannot recommend the owners and staff at Smiling Stars enough. Since 2017 we have had one then the second child attend in Pemberton Ave. Throughout these 5 years the staff lead by Mydie and the owners Kam and Moji have been fantastic, understanding and professional whenever we've needed them. Through the really tough Covid period they were a godsend.Whenever they have chosen (or had) to make changes along the way, they have always been thoughtful, reasonable and balanced in their approach. They somehow keep hiring great people as they have inevitable turnover from time to time; the power of a great, child-centered culture.Warm and approachable people from the baby room right through to the pre-K classes. We get pictures through the day of all the activities (so many) and excited happy kids at pick up time.We have a third on the way and she will definitely go too.Moji, Kam, Mydie and all the lovely staff, you make our family's life so much better, thank you!!!

Both of our sons have been attending the Pemberton location for almost 6 years, and our baby will be attending at the end of 2023. All of the staff are caring and loving, often asking about our oldest child who graduated from their program 2 years ago. My children have always been excited to attend daycare and love all the activities they offer, from crafts, music, art class and dance.
