I just got off the phone with MorEnergy Customer Service I needed for them to explain why after my rental contract finished in Feb 2015 after 10 years paying for my water heater why they were still charging me for rental fees. They told me they were reduced to 50% because I did not notify them to finish the contract which I was not told of when I contacted them in Dec 2014.Apparently after you have paid for the water heater you need to pay another 150.00 to complete the transaction and get your paperwork sent back as Morenergy shows as a lien on your property until closed NEXT TIME DIRECT all the way.

This company will come door to door and try to scam you especially if you are a senior and don't speak English very well. They tried to scam my 81 year old grandmother in to replacing her hot water tank. Sure enough they sent an Italian speaking sales rep to her door (the area that she lives in has a high population of seniors who are Italian and my grandmother is Italian as well). They gave her the sales pitch all in Italian. As they were giving her the sales pitch, it's a good thing that I was there and I told them to leave. If this company shows up at your door tell them to leave and whatever you do don't let them in to your house. They will make you switch to their company and you will be paying more on your bill than you are now!

I moved into a rental home and was told the water heater was a rental. I was a little skeptical of this, unsure if I liked the idea of a rental water heater seeing as I have never personally had a problem with one. However after living in my home for about 3 months we were losing our hot water rapidly. I called morEnergy who carried the rental and the next day someone was there to repair the water heater and he noticed something else. Being in Cambridge, we have hard water and he heard the noise in the tank and told me it needed further service and would initiate this for me. Sure enough, the following day I get a call to set up a time for the follow-up appointment and they were really good about working with my schedule. The next service tech came out and he cleaned out the tank and since then I could not be more pleased with the performance of the tank. Both techs were very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. It is unfortunate to see only negative reviews from people displeased with their experiences; I felt it important to share my satisfaction with this company. Thank you morenergy!!

This company is just Utilebill rebranded as a slightly worse review company. If you don't believe me, just Google Utilebill" and this is the company that shows up. Their address is exactly the same. They're still the same organization that tries to scam customers. Search "Utilebill" and you'll see all the scams they are involved with."
