I am thoroughly enjoying my adult classes at Empire MMA. My boxing, muay thai and bjj classes with Coach Jason are a blast!!! He is always very friendly, encouraging, and breaks down the techniques very well. It's always an amazing workout. I highly recommend Empire and if you try it be prepared to have lots of fun!!

The unsanitary conditions of the locker rooms has ruined my experience here.A staff member was rude. There were strange people hanging around this place.I thought I was unappreciated. I decided to use another gym.I now use the Y.

Terrible managed facility. I have read other reviews and can see I am not alone. After one year and we did not renew the membership, they continue to charge. I phoned and also paid a visit and spoke with the owner . They owe me $1200. And I put a stop payment and they still try to withdraw. I warn others to be aware. Will take them to collections and or small claims. I see that someone went thru the ministry and I will do the same. Very shameful busines practices!

Easily one of the best martial arts gyms I have ever had the pleasure to attend, and I have seen my fair share. Achillies and Kareem are among some of the most knowledgable, passionate and honest instructors I have met in my life. The gym is inviting, engaging, and accessable to practitioners of any level. Empire is literally a school that can make you reach every goal you could possibly have within the martial arts from fitness to fame.

My first impression of this place was great, my boyfriend really enjoyed the classes and the teachers, however because he’s in the military and often leaves for a couple of months at a time, he decided to cancel while he’s away so he wouldn’t be charged for a service he’s not using. Well, despite having gone in multiple times to cancel, they keep charging him. My boyfriend has called several times and received no calls back, he’s emailed several times but gotten no emails back, and he’s gone in twice now and spoken with the owner, and yet this issue has still not been resolved. It’s been roughly 3 months at this point, it’s been absolutely ridiculous.

Very happy to have found this gem in Barrie. A good variety of classes available for different skill levels. Friendly, helpful, and informative instructors as well as participants. Martial arts is definitely a fun and motivating way to stay active.

Very unprofessional gym. They don't honor their own contract. Communicating with the business office is impossible. Phone calls and emails go unanswered. They over billed my account $440 and i had to get the Ontario Ministry of Government and Consumer Services after them to get my money back. See Yelp reviews for another guy who got screwed.

Ive loved coming here since my first day a few months ago. Great trainers, great people, great atmosphere.Weather your trying to get in shape or want to learn to fight, this is the place to be.

This is a no frills type of facility, very basic gym however the Fit Factory class leader is amazing and motivates very well.The only problem & major problem with this place is the lack of attention to detail, website has outdated schedule, they never respond to emails or phone calls, and the hours of the gym are not always honored. The flexibility is poor, since the gym doesn't have good equipment for a good work out on your own.

I’ve always been a gym rat and weight lifter, but switched things up with MMA. I’m so glad I chose Empire! Coach is amazing at making any level of striker or grappler feel comfortable and I’ve progressed so quickly because of it. It’s an amazing group of people! Love training at Empire!
