Hakim Optical Burlington - Guelph Line

Drove from Hamilton today to come and pick glasses out today. Arrived at the store at 12:50pm and the sign on the door says they won’t be back until 2:15pm. Breaks are understandable to close the store especially if there is one staff member working but well over an hour??I guess a suggestion for all customers, make sure to call ahead to make sure they’re actually operating during their business hours.

I'm a frequent customer to Hakim at Guelph Line. I keep giving them my business because they keep giving me outstanding customer service! Nadir has been primarily the person who has helped me and he is really quite exceptional.I always walk out with several pairs, different frame colour, sunglasses. I've got many as I like to have a variety to choose from. I always find what I'm looking for and always treated with respect, whether buying one or 4.I've gone in to have my glasses repaired, tightened or cleaned and they always help me.Thank you for your friendly service and value for what I'm purchasing!

Sign on door says optician is on lunch break back in one hour.Did the optician just leave two minutes ago or are they just about to return?But besides the frustration of the waiting the optician changed my mind. A good store that took care of my 92 year old dad.He listened measured twice and got us a fair price.

I dealt with Yasmin and she was phenomenal. I love the service I received. My new glasses arrived promptly and I am really happy with them . Thanks again Yasmin the service and level of confidence. It made the decision to purchase my glasses there very easy . And I’m very happy with my experience

I was in on Saturday May 7th 2022, the women working was very kind, polite, professional and very knowledgeable. She answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. Will definitely be going back! I didn’t catch her name, but she needs a raise.

This was my first time coming here, because I can't find any glasses I like at locations in my city. So, I don't even live in Burlington , but, thought I'd check in to see if they had more stock. I arrived at 6 pm, and was greeted by a sign on the door, that they were on lunch break till 6:45 pm. I would wait and come back, but, they close at 7 pm. So, there is no way, I can actually make a decision and purchase a couple of pairs of glasses, in less than 15 minutes. Such a waste of time to drive all this way, and not even get into the store.Who takes an hour lunch basically an hour before you close? I won't be coming back to this location. Such a disappointment!!!!

Good prices for 2 glasses I paid around 450 and that is with a pretty severe prescription...I like it there a lot!

I had my prescription sunglasses stolen from my car at work last summer !! Went to Hakim needed sunglasses ASAP leaving for Nova Scotia in 10 days !!! They were the best !! Service was great !! Not only new sunglasses but I got new regular glasses too !! Will never go anywhere else !! Male service clerk was amazing !! Thanks again Kathy

I don’t have much to add to these other comments. Customer service here is amazing. I was looking for frames for a few weeks and most other places either suggested one or two frames and gave up when I said I didn’t like them, or tried really hard to sell me frames I wasn’t happy with.Here, I came in 30 minutes before closing, tried on maybe 20 pairs and felt like I had support. I ended up with a good pair of regular prescription lenses and a pair of prescription sunglasses for the same price I would have paid at another place, but these seem like better quality and I had help.

I arrived at this location 10 minutes before closing and assumed my visit would not lead to a purchase. After all, it takes a long time to figure out which frames are perfect for you.Well to my surprise the young man working that evening took over my search, did not rush the process and made me feel like I was the only customer that mattered. My experience that evening was the essence of true customer service. Thank you and I love my new glasses!!!
