Eli and team did and excellent job in working with be to setup an alternate method to power the furnace during a power outage. He working with ESA techs and the inspector to get to the bottom of the code and installed and excellent solution.

Professional. Quick and reliable. Great communication.Had both Eli and Al work on two different occasions. They Installed pot lights and outlets when we finished our basement and moved an outlet for a custom bench we had built into our kitchen.For each job, they made sure we were on the same page for expectations before starting the work. They were great at suggesting ideas and solutions we hadn't thought of to improve on our projects. Eli even contacted our renovators to coordinate work and to be sure there were no delays and the job was done right.Will definitely contact them in the future for any other electrical jobs.

Electrical connection to Hot Tub including installation of GFCI panel and additional circuit breaker at main panel.Also provided troubleshooting for outdoor outlet and provided two new outdoor outlets.Eli and his team communicated promptly on questions, plans and visits. I had a great experience with Ally Electric! I had them assess/fix some electrical work in my home, move lighting fixtures and install a new range hood.After submitting my request, they got back to me very quickly, and were able to move their schedule around in order to squeeze me in within the following 2 weeks (which was much sooner than the other electricians I had contacted).In terms of the job, they provide solid estimates (my costs ended up equating to my given estimates), take the time to explain the issues and how they fixed them, and are super friendly and willing to answer any and all questions. While on site, they also ensure to confirm the little details before moving forward with the job (where exactly to move the lighting fixture, the switch, etc.), which is much appreciated.Overall a great experience, and I definitely recommend Ally Electric to others!

Had Ally Electric in to our new build home to do a laundry list of electrical items the builder did not include, wanted to charge an arm and a leg to do, or just wouldn’t do.From the get go, I dealt with Allan(one of the owners) and could not have been more impressed. Allan was the first electrician to contact me back with a reasonable quote and time frame to get things done. He actually came to the house to take a look personally to ensure he quoted accurately so we wouldn’t be hit with extras at the end.We had Ally do the following:- install chandelier in foyer (2-storeys high)- add additional plugs in bedroom, bathroom, garage, foyer, exterior for garden lights and BBQ rotisserie- install new Tesla wall charger(which also meant a ‘pony panel’ and took his advice and separated anything exterior including the Tesla charger to that panel which freed up space on our regular panel for future basement finishing.Like I said, a laundry list of items.Allan and his team were in and out on time and we couldn’t have been happier. My neighbour was impressed and used them to wire her hot tub and exterior lights as well.Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ally Electric for anything.

We had Ally electric come and install under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. They provided us with lots of options, as well as great advice as to which type of lighting to choose. The whole install was quick and efficient. We are very happy with the work they did.

From my first meeting with Eli, he set me at ease. My house is an older one, and it needed a lot of upgrades. Eli's knowledge and down-to-earth nature made the process simple.Aside from a major rewiring of the garage and basement, which included installation of energy-efficient potlights, his suggestions transformed a long list of fixes into a reality which has made my home more liveable. He and his apprentice, David, worked here for an entire day, and I had no qualms at all about having them in the house.And later that fall, when Eli returned to install a new electric panel, a huge and overwhelming endeavour was made clear for me because Eli laid out the steps to having the power cut by Hydro Ottawa and then turned on again, and to having the work inspected.In addition to his masters-level knowledge of electrical works, his easy-going and humble nature, his sense of humour, his kindness, AND his work ethic make Eli the electrician to call for any job.
