Rocky Mtn Chocolate

$8 for a single scoop of ice cream in a cup and it was crystalized. You'd think with such high volume they wouldn't have this problem. There are a bunch of other places for ice cream around. Don't bother for the ice cream here. Other sweets are good3 stars because at least they are still open and staff is nice during the pandemic.

Every time we visit NOTL we stop for treats at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. The owners are fabulous people and always take the time to chat with my kids about all the tasty treats they have in the store.

As a world travel and connoisseur fine chocolate the presentation is excellent with a lot to choose from. Service was excellent and their bombs are delicious, I will say that I missed seeing any good selection of dark chocolate. I found their chocolate on the sweet side. I have a chocolate tooth rather than a sweet tooth. Overall great chocolate.

Good service and smells great in the store. I appreciated how the employee working was making sure to keep the capacity of the store in check and following the maximum 3 people inside at a time.There were a lot of options for chocolate. And the employee was also able to answer questions about ingredients which was very helpful! Some options were a bit more pricey than originally anticipated though.

Visiting the area and stopped in on a Sunday morning. The shop is extremely cute along the main street in Niagara on the Lake. We did find prices rather high compared to other Rocky Mountain locations in the GTA. Nonetheless, we were happy with our purchases for our son - two marshmallow sticks covered in sprinkles. We enjoyed the employee who striked up a conversation with us once she realized we were from out of town.

Clearly better chocolate than the other competitor. We love Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and visit one if its around where we're vacationing. But we got an education about the way Canada does chocolate and it is so much creamier, better tasting and you can tell the difference. Given the exchange rate I did not find this pricey. It is a luxury chocolate, and it was worth every penny. The staff here were extremely patient as I was overwhelmed with choices and trying to buy gifts. Kelly taught me a few things while she took care of me and wrapped our gifts a special way for us. She even offered to hold our items till we were done shopping because it was brutal hot out there and it would have melted. Amazing lady! Loved her! Jessica was great to helping us get our things and getting us our treats when we came to pick up our purchases. Never underestimate the power of customer service!!

I go for 1 reason only. The dark chocolate marshmello stick. It's a crazy delicious treat. They make them in-house and sell out fast. So...they are sadly not always in stock when you drop in. So its hit and miss. I dont fancy anything else, so I cant review the rest of the choices. It's a quaint chocolate shop in the heart of old town Niagara on the Lake. Adults and kids can never go sad in a chocolate maker's shop! Have fun and indulge!

My friend and I had lunch in the area on February 18, 2023.We were looking at stores and stopped into Rocky Mountain Chocolates. We saw the BOGO free on left over chocolate from Valentines Day; nice deals. My friend and I decided on cute chocolate ‘Melt My Heart’ bombs. I was eyeing a heart shaped red box ($45) again BOGO free. I was tired that day and asked the older blonde woman if I could get the $45. box of chocolates for 1/2 price. She said you get a free box if you purchase one. She looked at me as if I was stupid. A smirk on her face. We paid for the ‘bombs’ and left. My friend said the same thing to me about what the older blonde woman said.The chocolate I purchased here is for my husband (I don’t eat chocolate) he loves it. That’s the one saving grace of your store.It’s hit and miss with customer service. The majority aren’t very welcoming or pleasant. They need courses on how to treat customers!!!!!!!

Bought 2 candy apples for $12 each and one of them was going rotten inside. There was also a hidden bag fee for 50 cents which we weren't made aware of!

Ok, so who doesn't love chocolate, right? We bought some chocolate recess cups, and they were amazing. I was in heaven when I walked in. There are so many things to choose from. They had some pretty cool candy apples. If you love chocolate, this I the place to go.
