This restaurant deserves 3.5 stars or less (that is based on the assumption that some customers receive a much better meal than I did). Attached is a picture of the less than half full salad I was given with my $97 order. The salad itself is of poor quality in any event.The mixed platter for two was overpriced and small. The iskender had way too much bread and not enough meat.There is absolutely no reason to go to this restaurant. Best Istanbul down the street has a less expensive and more fulfilling mixed platter and salad. Bosphouros at Keele and Steeles, although a bit of a drive from this area, is also much superior. I haven't tried Meat Point next store, but I can't see how it could be worse.I order Turkish cuisine at least once a month and have never received such poor quality/quantity for the price I paid.

Today was our second visit here (last time we got lunch takeout), we had breakfast and wiped the dishes clean .. the fried eggs with turkish sausage was unbelievably good.. they didn't hold back on the butter/ghee. And I could eat their bread everyday.. My husband, who is usually picky about coffee, was in love with their Turkish coffee. Finally, the hostess Ezgi gave us some baklava on the house to enjoy with our Turkish coffee. Can't get much better than that.

This place is AMAZING. It has been open for about two months and their food quality is amazing. The chef had a restaurant in a different part of town that shut down due to covid and he opened this place. The food was extremely fresh and high quality. You could tell it was fresh. They also offered us dessert for free because they were so friendly. You will not be disappointed. Go to this place as soon as you can

Updated version: their wraps!! Guys, u need to try their wraps. I am not usually a wrap fan but theirs is very very good. Upping review to 5 stars. It was huge. There was lots of very well seasoned meat. It comes with these amazing spicy yellow pickle things that i could just gorge on. Service was great!Hubby is a wrap fanatic. This is his favorite wrap place in Toronto lol.They renovated! It now has booths. The food was good. I must say, the portions are huge!! They were so generous with the meat. I ordered the chicken shish. It also comes with a complimentary salad. I could eat that for 2 meals. The dessert was superb. The service was good too! Our server was very friendly.I tried their wraps in the past. Those were amazing and SO MUCH MEAT!

We ate the beef doner sandwich and lahmacun pied. Both were delicious, affordable and the portions are generous.All breads are made in house! Popular place, as there were several customers picking up take out. We will 100% return.

Despite its small facade and interior, this Turkish restaurant has so much to offer, especially for those on a budget. The lentil soup is a must-try, complete delicious artisan bread and a side of salad. And that's just the beginning - the Lahmacun, Istanbul Kebab Combo, Doner sandwich, Adana Wrap and Baklava are all absolutely amazing. Most importantly try there kebabs and lamb chops. They are to die for! Plus, the first cup of tea is on the house!But what really sets Doner-G apart is their customer service. Mert, the restaurant attendant, went above and beyond to ensure that I had a wonderful dining experience. It's clear that the staff truly cares about their customers.So if you're looking for high-quality, affordable Turkish food in Toronto, I highly recommend checking out Doner-G. You won't be disappointed!
