North Studio

We switched to North Studio from another web dev firm and have been pretty pleased with the results. There is a wider breadth of Drupal specific knowledge and experience and I find that tasks get handled more efficiently. Overall, very pleased.

On Feb 6, 2020 - As soon as I said I was having trouble with their their contact form on this review, a fellow phoned me right away to tell me they would find and fix the problem. I said I only needed my Paypal shopping cart to work again on my Drupal e-commerce site but the guy also offered to look at other things that might need updating, since I do have an outdated Drupal website, and they will send me a list at no extra charge so I could pay each thing at my own convenience which is a great option for a small business owner in this economy. I was amazed and happy and he was so friendly....... took over a month and I always had to phone them. Poor communication. They don't seem to care about small business.To be fair they gave me such a great deal though in the end because of my frustration. Hopefully I can eventually get my list they promised to work on improving things slowly on updating my website in the future.-------------_-------------Updated - Emailed them again this year to get a fix on the coding of my drupal website. that was October 2021. I emailed them again and then someone promptly phoned and I gave them an admin priveleges on my website, never heard from them again.... I finally went with someone else in December.Spencer the new person is great and spends time explaining everything to me and always let's me know when he's working on something. We decided to not use Drupal.

After choosing North Studio to assist with a website bug, we highly recommend their services to anyone experiencing a Drupal issue. In addition to excellent service and rapid responses across the board, they make the whole process easy, thanks in large part to a project management approach that helps ensure general communication and follow-ups are seamless.

We had North Studio handle our site migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8. Our site has more than 15K articles and such in the database, so this was no easy task. They knew their stuff and handled the migration very well. We still have a final migration to complete -- but thus far I would give them two thumbs up and very happy with the job. I most note after working with other companies since north studio is no doubt competent but also over priced.

Our Company had an older version of Drupal that we were beginning to have problems with. It was also not a responsive site. Most modules were outdated and there was a security issue that needed to be dealt with. I called many companies for help. Most of them would just say the same thing, You can fix this thing

I wish we had started our Drupal 8 project with these folks. They not only rescued us but have an absolute pleasure to work with. Great resources, wonderfully competent people and great customer service. When was the last time your developer asked you how they were doing and if you were happy with their service?

I have worked with North Studio now on two websites and on both they have done a fantastic job and delivered impressive websites. I find North Studio to be well versed in the process, they have a good flow, things are constantly progressing and you can track that, they are highly organized, and they meet the deadline they set. Candace is amazing- always willing to jump in and get something done, get answers or get things done- she felt like a true partner that cared about the success just as much as I did.The design (Kristin) was awesome. We just did a ton of research for new branding and she really brought it to life and now her design is carrying through to over aspects of our marketing.The tech side and making the sure everything functioned the way we anticipated was spot on (Shallon, Deb).Jeff coded it and made it spectacular.I'm sorry because I am probably missing others but everyone that worked on my website(s) has really delivered quality products and given the opportunity to build another website, I will go back to North Studio. Easy decision!

North Studio and the team are phenomenal! They've helped us out with a number of digital projects, and I couldn't recommend them enough. We will certainly use them again when we are in need of web and marketing leverage to boost our online sales and really engage our online users.

These guys built our amazing new site in Drupal 8. Everyone there from project management to designers, coders and SEO experts were fantastic to work with, responsive (like our site) and true experts in their fields. We can't thank north studio enough for all they do.

I worked very briefly for North Studios before deciding it wasn’t a good fit for me. I felt that management where micromanaging and that isn’t my style. I sent an invoice for the hours I worked and since then they have ghosted me. This was in May 2020. I’ve tried to contact their accounting department, the CTO, and the CEO to no avail.If you are okay with doing business for a company that doesn’t pay their workers, this would be a good fit for you.
