Wet Nose's Getaway

My dog, Pepper, joined the Wet Noses Getaway pack in the spring of 2022. Pepper has separation anxiety and I tried different daycare situations for her (larger facilities and home-based), and she just didn’t thrive in those environments. I decided to try to put her in pack walks to see how she would do in that situation, and fortunately found Wet Noses Getaway. Gina was so patient with Pepper, easing her into the pack and even making sure Pepper walked with dogs similar in size to her. Pepper eventually found her BFF in this pack and the structured pack walks have helped her come out of her shell.I am so grateful to have found Gina and Wet Noses Getaway. Gina treats each dog like her own, and Pepper now gets excited whenever she sees her! Thank you for having the patience to work with Pepper when no one else would. I have peace of mind when Pepper goes for her pack walks because I know she's in good hands. I’m so glad Pepper has found her pack!

As soon as we had our pup, a very active Australian Shepherd, join our family, we knew we wanted to ensure he was able to socialize with other pups and be set up for long term success of being apart of pack walks, play time with other dogs and feeling confident in who could take care of our dog when we returned to work/ went away. Gina has been our number 1 choice from day one as she is extremely professional, always very honest with her communication and does her best to work with changing schedules as we navigate our needs and ensuring our pup gets what he needs on a weekly basis. Every time our dog knows it's Gina time, he races to the door and scoots his butt as close to the door as he waits to get his leash on and be reunited with her again. It's pretty special knowing our dog is in safe hands with Gina and that he loves her just as much as she loves him!

The reason I got my dog, Spud, enlisted in Gina's services is because she offers pack walks and it was important to me that Spud was able to socialize with other dogs in a group were they weren't always physically playing and instead migrating together on a walk. Before choosing Gina, I contacted a few dog walkers and the thing that stood out the most to me about her is her reliability when it came to communication. She is clear and consise about her expectations and she follows up with you on how your pup does on their walk. My next favourite thing about Gina is her self awareness, she doesn't let her ego get in the way of taking care of your dog. I'm a big believer that your mental health and energy can influence your dogs on the walk, so it nice to know Gina shares the same value. Lastly, Spud is her biggest boy in her pack and Gina appears to handle with grace and ease ontop of handling 5 other dogs on her walk. I can confidently say, Gina is worth the money to pay to take care of your dogs.

We are so thankful that we found Gina to help walk our very active girl, Maple. Gina is extremely knowledgeable, professional, punctual, the list goes on! She is always positive and provides constructive feedback on how we can help Maple’s leash walking skills. We’ve seen a lot of progress, and it’s only been 3 months!! She is a caring and dog-loving individual who truly wants what's best for the dogs that stay with her; understanding that each has their own very unique needs and personalities. Having just been away for 8 days to the other side of the country I can honestly say I compeltely trust Gina. She sends timely updates with lots of pictures and does her best to be flexible and accomodating with pick up and drop off. I am very happy to have found Gina and I know my dog really enjoys the extra walks and her cuddles! I highly recommend her - I have complete peace of mind when I am away.

Gina has a genuine passion for dogs and it shows in the care and attention that she gives to each and every pup. Gina has always been very accommodating with date and time requests. While I'm away, she keeps me updated with photos and messages, which gives me peace of mind. We have been with Gina and Colt for 7 months now, and we are so happy with the service and attention Gina gives to our little Bailey. We couldn't asked for a better dog walker and pet sitter for our dog. Gina is very dependable and accommodating. Bailey has always been a bit shy but has improved so much and it shows through her confidence with the pack walks that Gina brings her on. Gina is so patient with Bailey , and we are so grateful for that. She cares so much about every dogs and our family is so happy to have found Wet Nose getaway and I know that Bailey is in good hands with Gina and Colt.

Gina is amazing! She cares for your dog like it's her own. She's been helping me out with my dog since he was a Puppy. He's a very nervous boy at first but Gina works so well with him. She's 100% a Dog whisperer. If you ever run into her on a pack walk, all the dogs are so focused on their walk and her that they don't get distracted by their surroundings. I feel 100% safe and confident knowing Gina is taking care of my fur-child when he is with her :)

Our dog, Suki, loves her Bronte Park Walks. Gina is reliable and makes sure all the dogs have fun in a safe environment. It is great that Suki comes home after a walk tired and lounges around all day giving us a break from entertaining.
