Credit Counselling Society wasn't really on my radar until friends suggested them. I was so impressed by the professional friendliness of the people I talked to on the phone, and then meeting Margaret in person was a very helpful, pleasant experience. I will be going back for a follow-up appointment. I would definitely recommend their services to others.

So happy I called Credit Counselling. From booking my appointment to actually seeing à counselor was painfree and they are so helpful. They provided me with invaluable information on everything from budgeting to loans and interest accrual. I especially appreciated the number of options I was provided with and their encouragement to deal with my debt on my own. Knowing there was a viable solution for me to get out of debt myself or with the aid of their programs gave me the freedom to make the choice that was truly right for me.

Couldn't recommend CCS enough to anyone seeking advice & guidance for a better future!I started with CCS about 4 years ago, and in about 2 months I will be debt free. I cant explain how great it feels, but most importantly, this wouldn't be possible without the help of the staff and my counsellor Margaret! I have learned so much about money management and am currently a Credit Advisor with a huge financial institution in Canada.

My wife and I were very extremely worried about our financial situation after I lost my job due to illness. We had just finished an addition and renovations on our house and the bills kept coming in. Along with other debt. We were at wits end with our finances until we thought about getting help from CCS. It was embarrassing thinking that we had to call someone about our finances. The gentleman who helped us was fantastic. He was very kind and understanding and put us at ease. We only have two payments left and are very excited about being out from under the debt. Learned plenty about credit and budgeting by an excellent counselor, who should be better described as a coach/ facilitator. Angela provided options that allowed *me* to take control of my finances, rather than my finances taking control of me. Thanks, Credit Counselling Society of BC.

I appreciate it that Margaret listened to my concerns, gave reassurance and provided relevant financial information. I was very upset when I first came to Credit Counselling, and she made me feel at ease right away. I am very happy with the plan and her follow-up.
