What a weird condo building that’s attached to the center, the air blows cold throughout the hallways on the top levels – gross!

pretty much makes living close to this building impossible because of the noise pollution

Since the new building was completed there is 24/7 HVAC fan noise. The architect’s renderings of the building don’t show the placement of the HVAC equipment. On the roof of the 4 storey building next to the open outdoor area and the lower levels at the rear of building are mechanical equipment. The building itself butts up to a residential heritage building and is next to a condo building. Instead of having the equipment on either the roof of the 18 storey tower or along the alley way the bright architect and City of Vancouver thought it a good idea to place in close proximity to the people living in the heritage and condo building. Visitors should be aware of the noise pollution created and the lack of consideration that has been given to residents in the area. Complaints to 311 have gone unanswered and the Masonic centre association doesn’t appear to care.In addition the wall of 4 storey building that faces east is poorly crafted and a patchy ugly concrete. How did the Masonic centre accept this poor quality work?In addition to the noise pollution there is light pollution from the excessive amount of light fixtures on the east side wall of the 18 story building and the material used on the Masonic building that cause reflected light pouring into the condo building next to it.The west side concrete wall of the Masonic building is a disgusting eyesore. Surprised that it would be acceptable to the Freemasons.
