Downtown Subaru

We recently bought a car from Downtown Subaru and we're very happy about our experience. Melissa Yiu has been extremely patient and helpful and professional with us over the past 3 months. She was very responsive with all of our inquiries both on the phone or on emails. I've dealt with other dealerships but I have to say my experience with this dealership has been the most pleasant. BIg props to Melissa.

Melissa was very helpful through the process, kept us well informed along the way and saved us a lot of time by doing extra paper work on her side. I usually use my neighborhood mechanic for my old 2007 Subaru Forester, but I was having an electrical issue that two different mechanics couldn't diagnose.I went to Downtown Subaru and the issue was correctly diagnosed at the service counter. These guys know their stuff.They could have kept my car and charged me for a diagnosis, but I essentially left with a handshake and a thank you.The issue was non essential and didn't need fixing. Certainly not for my old car.No work done... but that's what I call ethical service.

I just leased a car from downtown Subaru. I worked with Melissa. She's knowledgeable, professional, funny and always answered my questions, which I had a lot of. Melissa helped to create a fun atmosphere around buying a car. If you are looking at buying or leasing a Subaru, I would highly recommend Downtown Subaru. This place might be a rip off! My Outback recently had power steering problems; the Service Advisor (Hung) said they would only do the work if they replaced the entire system (at huge cost!). So I took it to a different Subaru dealer, where they only replaced a few of the parts (at much less cost!). I will never go back here again, as I don’t trust them to give accurate advice. Save your money, and go somewhere else for repairs! (they shouldn't even get one star!)

I have been leasing my cars from Downtown Subaru since my first Imprezza as a kid out of Uni back in 2009. Bruce Mc Cuaig was my first sales person and he made me feel like a valued customer right from the start. The last 2 cars I have been dealing with Melissa Yiu who has been exceptional. Responsive, follows up even when there are no news on the car to let you know you are not forgotten and went above and beyond with answering my 1000 questions during the lease of my 2024 Crosstrek. I live in Vaughan Ontario and still drive to this dealership as the service has been by far the best I have received. Strongly recommend them as a dealership.
