VIA rail in the north is terrible. Schedules run only a few times per week, and usually in the middle of the night. Train to Toronto takes over 6 hours when you can drive in 4. It's like they don't want people to ride the train. Even the price is crazy. Would not recommend unless you really want to ride the train or are travelling across the country.

Amazing Ride! Beautiful scenery all along.Big shout out to the VIa Rail crew. Conductor Robin, and the train engineers- Ryan and Derek, who despite the late departure from White River, was able to make it Sudbury with little delay. Highly professional and dedicated crew.

Love taking the train!It's very convenient to have access to outlets and tables while on the train for homework. The staff is always very friendly on the White River-Sudbury route and I would recommend every one take the train to enjoy to beautiful scenery!

Traveled the Budd Car from Cartier to Sinker Creek. The staff were very professional, level-headed, and kind. Lise, the engineer, and the rest of the crew were awesome and I was impressed with their composure (in dealing with one particularly abusive and aggressive passenger) and thoughtfulness, that I felt that they needed a special review and commendation. Thank you for an awesome passage and we look forward to using Via rail again, because of this crew!

The little station is out in the bush, not on a bus route. Lack of full accessibility for anyone with a mobility challenge. Not always staffed. Horrible location for a city the size of Sudbury.

I am a huge fan of the Sudbury station. It is a professional and friendly line to White River on the Budd Car. See yourself there some Saturday at 9 am.

Just ensure you have the right address so you don't miss your train, like I did. There are two stations in Sudbury. All-in-all, amazing place!
