We've been to this restaurant in the past and it was fantastic. I'm not sure if owners/management have changed, but this was the worst service and meal we've ever had there. We waited 30-40 minutes for our meal, my son's poutine was cold, so cold that the gravy was congealed. My husband's meal was not what he ordered. The server was so scattered, she never once came to our table to offer us refills on our drinks, to check on things or to clear our plates. I had to ask another server to find our server. It was horrible and feel completely ripped off. Family of 5 and spent over $100.00!

Today I had the Chicken and shrimp platter, found to be crunchier than I prefer but was good. Unfortunately my fellow diner's order was prepared incorrectly and I am not sure whose fault whether the waitress or the kitchen so I removed a star from my previous review.

We're from out of town and decided to stop here. I had the Salisbury steak and my girlfriend had the lasagna. My Salisbury steak was awesome, very generous portion. My girlfriends lasagna was big, but she said she wouldn't order it again. The part that made it most enjoyable was our service from Grace. She said she was fairly new to the job but she did amazing. Very friendly and awesome at her job. Grace was AMAZING!!! Would definitely come back for the service alone. But the food was very good in my opinion aswell.

First time for breakfast!! Great selection at reasonable competitive pricesThe avocado sandwich is so yummy but only comes with one poached egg, I’ll ask for two next time!!Will definitely go back

Wonderful old style restaurant with good food and friendly staff - and booth seats which move if you need the extra room ! Also lots of historical items and photos. Good spot for just coffee or even a beer as well as meals.

This place was packed! That shows me it is a popular place. It is in the Best Western Hotel but it was evident there were a lot of locals there. Our server was such a delight. Although she was run off her feet she never pressured us and was patient and made us feel welcome. The food was excellent, the portions were good and the price was fair.

Perogies were fantastic. Left me wishing more were served. My waitress Jean was so kind and friendly. Seems like she authentically enjoys her job. Will come back.

I really enjoy the Ricky's Country Restaurant chain. I find the atmosphere to be family style. I'm not a fan of their all day grill locations, but the Country Restaurant is fantastic. At this location they had some unique decor including an old fashioned wood burning stove. The food was great. My only criticisms are that the Yorkshire pudding which was very dry and burnt tasting. The crusty roll" was actually dry and brittle on the inside. Other than that

I really enjoyed this place. The food was really good albeit small in portion size. It was expensive but the ladies there were really hardworking and friendly. I met a gentleman outside named Brad who works there and Id say the stop at Rickys was worth that interaction alone.So stop by, relax, eat, tip accordingly, and if your lucky, Brad will say hi to you.

Lengthy time waiting for first glass of water, then order. Few customers at that time. GOOD food. No asking if we wanted coffee or dessert, just bringing the bill. I had to ask for more water while paying!
